I was disappointed at first arrival - the pictures make the home (living/kitchen area) look MUCH bigger than it is. The main area was "cozy" and it did fit the 3 couples - I was just expecting more elbow room. Please note: the master bedroom in the loft doesn't have a solid wall separating it from the rest of the living area, so when you're in that room, it SOUNDS like you're still in the living room. I could even hear clear conversations from the bedroom loft when people were whispering in the living room. If you have light sleepers, make sure they don't use that room.

The master bedroom does have a wall and a door, but unfortunately, the wall does not extend all the way to the very peak ceiling. There is a fitted, fabric screen that blocks all light and visibility between the living room and bedroom, but it does allow some sound to come through. Great property, very central, Lovely spot!
We really enjoyed staying at the property in this beautiful region of Colorado. The cabin is large and has everything you might need. Its really central and close to the little town. Instructions to get in and out of the house is very thorough and the process overall was very smooth.
A few things to call out:
- The owners did not connect with us at all, i don't mind to be honest as we didn't have a need to talk however it would have been nice to get a message of welcome
- The check-out instructions are extremely detailed, having to remove all linen from beds etc. Felt it could be a little excessive and potentially might help getting a cleaning company to help with some of those tasks.
- Check-in is only at 4pm. Im sure you can request a earlier check in but as a general standard that seems so late in the day, most hotels / homes to rent usually start check-in at 2pm which seems more reasonable.
Apart from these few very minor things, we loved our stay here and highly recommend it!

Easy process, easy communication
Great place to stay for large groups!
Everything was as stated! Super clean and large for big groups. Very easily accessible and prompt responses from owner. A peaceful location where you are sure to see wildlife. We saw a moose and deer super close!
We stayed here for our son's wedding in June. The house suited our family's needs. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the house. While the bathrooms were clean, tops of shelves, racks, cabinets, fireplace mantle, and refrigerator were not which led me to question the cleanliness of the beds/linens. There was food left over in the fridge and freezer. We also could not close the garage door from the outside which meant we had to go back into the house through the side door and to the garage to close it. There were plenty of extra pillows available but no pillowcases. When we contacted someone regarding this we were told there were extras in the locked trunk in the bedroom but that we would be charged. Why provide extra pillows without the pillowcases? My suggestion - check up on your cleaning staff.

The homeowner would like to share the following: "Our cleaning staff strives to provide a clean home for guests, and we will be sure to pass on the feedback about the refrigerator and dusting. We apologize about the extra pillowcases. Sorry, we do not have extra linens on-site for pillows in the closet. The house comes with a full set of clean linens for all beds and pillows on the beds, and the locked chest contains emergency equipment and a single set of spare linens in case of an accident. There is never a charge for access to that. Sometimes the remote keypad to automatic garage opener malfunctions and the inside button has to be used until it’s reset (which has been done).
