Why Scott and Linda Leidner chose Plattsburgh
Lake Champlain is a summer paradise, popular with sailors, power boaters, and fishermen alike. This Adirondack Coastal waterway offers 123 miles of navigational opportunities to the north and south, as well as western exploration into numerous island coves, and bays of Vermont. Lake Champlain is a world class Bass fishery with a variety of other fish species to entice visiting anglers. Loon Landing is located within several miles of two state boat launches and is within close proximity to Point au Roche State Park, a popular nature-viewing spot with hundreds of acres of hiking trails. Several marinas are nearby, as well. With breathtaking views of the Green Mountains, and the Adirondack Park a short thirty minute drive away, Loon Landing is the perfect year round vacation retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. The spring and fall seasons provide their own beautiful backdrops for a restful vacation at Loon Landing. For those who enjoy winter activities, ski areas, snowmobile trails, and hiking trails are a short drive away. Montreal, Lake Placid, and Burlington are all within approximately a one hour drive from the house.

Beautiful property right on the waterfront. You can watch the birds and see the sailboats all day.
Very relaxing space. Wonderfully equipped home with lots of room. Lovingly cared for and it shows in the home and the property. Hoping to come back.
A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing place to spend a week.
It was clean and comfortable. The stairs squeak a lot, so there is no sneaking out in the middle of the night unnoticed. All the usual kitchen equipment is present, and there are chairs galore both inside and out. The beds are comfortable, and there are six good sized room fans for when it gets hot and humid. Swimming is possible off the beach, though swim shoes are advisable for those with soft feet. Overall, an excellent stay for us and highly recommended.
Beautiful house and location
This place has everything - a perfect spot on a quiet cove of Lake Champlain, close to lots of fun places for vacation.
We spent a wonderful week at this fantastic property. Lovely beach, spacious living and sleeping areas and helpful owners. We were fortunate to have perfect weather, so we really didn't have to go anywhere, but the home is close to a great public beach, Ausable Chasm and Plattsburgh for shopping, too. We hope to come back! Thank you!
Great location and property.
The house and yard were perfect for 6 adults and a toddler. The property is on the lake. You can walk down the stairs and you're at the water. We swam and fished, wished we had brought our canoes. And you can't beat sitting on the deck and looking over the lake and all of the activity. Our hosts were great. Linda even brought us over a sewing kit for a minor emergency.
The view is hard to beat!!
Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, but we enjoyed our stay. House is clean and comfortable. The views from the deck are second to none. Loved building a fire at dusk and watching the water. Weekend proved to be everything we were hoping for with a little antiquing and a lot of relaxing.
