Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We had another great stay at the whale watcher, the deer, the great view, could not have been more more satisfied. Needed some R&R and got it. We can't wait for the next time. Millie (our dog) loved her stay too. Thanks
Let me say you can't beat the vistas this amazing little house has to offer. Bar none, this is it's best feature. The deck surrounds the house which is also very nice. The house is really small but quaint.
The biggest shortcoming for us was a barely functioning toilet (up to four flushes). We can live with rustic but you need good a decent toilet (especially when there is only one). Also, there was a broken seat cover that had a note on it stating management knew of the problem. Well.....we were there 10 days and no one seemed to think it important enough issue to replace it. The burners on the stove did not fit correctly, so we had food sliding on the pans when we were cooking.
Beach access was also not straight forward as we had expected. Not a big deal but did require extra streets to access.
All in all a nice place but needs some attention to the details noted above.
We had an overall good stay at this property. The view is awesome but the place needs some love. Very dated and needs a deep clean. We found that the place over all is what you pay for; a good deal near the ocean. The walk down to the beach is not too bad and the beach is, for sure, one of the best on the whole West Coast! However the property needs some updated appliances, the water pressure is weak and the toilet had to be flushed multiple times to remove the waste, the outside of the bathtub and other places around needed more attention from the cleaners, and we found that we had to prewash our dishes, pots, and pans before using because most were still dirty. Not having a dishwasher could be the cause.
I don't think we will stay at this property again but the view is pretty sweet!
Nice quiet little house with beautiful views.
Excellent location with a short walk to the beach. Some updating needed inside.
We had a wonderful three day stay in this cozy beach house during our week-long honeymoon. The quick walk down to the beach was a major selling point for us. The house reminded us of a family cabin, not a stuffy rental. We would definitely stay here again!
Great little beach house! Very short walk down to the beach and the wraparound deck were both huge selling points for us. The house itself is quite cozy. It felt like we were staying at a family cabin. We would definitely stay here again!
