If you are looking for a place to call home away from home, try connecting with your heart to discover this "Land of Enchantment". You will begin a new journey here and create many memories. So, grab your camera or pen & journal and start clicking away!

This Santa Fe Adobe Jewel is nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains LOCATED in this jewel of a private Subdivision, located in Santa Fe County and about 12+ miles North of the Santa Fe Plaza. Santa Fe Cottage is a quaint little adobe cottage that is private & quite with beautiful views of both the Sangre de Cristo & Jemez Mountains. You can have your morning coffee on the enclosed Patio, or side porch or just stay snuggled in your bed watching the views from your window. And in the evening take a walk up to the top of the hill & see the most beautiful sunsets in the sitting area having a nice glass of wine or hot cocoa. It has a full size kitchen; Fridge, stove, dishwasher, micro-wave, pots, pans & dishes + utensils and washer/dryer w/detergent. The Bedroom has two twin beds made to be a KING, or separately. The couch turns out to a queen size bed for two. TV-flat screen, cable ready, Netflix and WIFI available. Centrally located to both; 13 miles to Santa Fe Plaza and about 30 miles of awesome scenery to (1) Chimayo, NM, famous for the El Sanctuary de Chimayo known as “Lourdes of America”, where people all over come to give thanks or ask for favors and where miracles are made. And walk away with a token of their healing sand, (2) also in driving distance to gorgeous views of Los Alamos where our nuclear testing were done which can all be learned at the Bradbury Science Museum FREE to the public.
There is so, so much to do in a weekend getaway or spread it out for a week or two.

Wonderful Stay

This is the perfect getaway for some relaxation in the Teseque hills. The outdoor spaces are amazing, especially the seating area above the casita where you can watch beautiful sunsets and the night sky! Communication with Gina and Vance couldn't be better. They are excellent hosts! We look forward to a return visit soon!

Return Visit--keeps getting better!

This was our second stay at this wonderful casita, and it's even better than before with additional upgrades. The interior is absolutely perfect—comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully maintained—but what truly sets this place apart is the outdoor space.Morning coffee on the patio surrounded by quiet desert beauty, and a peaceful nightcap at sunset from the seating area up the hill… it's simply magical. Gina and Vance are outstanding hosts—warm, responsive, and attentive to every detail. We especially appreciated the thoughtful upgrades since our last visit, like the addition of the path railing, which made accessing the upper seating area even easier.This place feels like a hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Breathtaking experience

Just the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape views of Santa Fe. Our hosts were so gracious and welcoming! Everything was so clean and what an amazing authentic adobe style home. We wish we were able to stay longer. Great location to everything local too !

wonderful hideaway

Charming casita nestled in the hills of Tesuque with spectacular views from the hill in back of the casita. Very private. Well equipped including a nice fireplace with an abundance of cut firewood. Short ride to Santa Fe. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it enormously. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

Great Getaway!

We took a mini vacay and spent 5 days in this wonderful gem of a rental! The area and views are gorgeous! The Casita was lovely, the outdoor areas were private and inviting. The accommodations had every comfort you could ask for! My hubby and I will definitely look for this Casita when we are visiting again. Gina has some wonderful suggestions in her binder for restaurants, things to do, sights to see as well. Thank you Gina and family - we look forward to next time!

A Gem!

Everything about this property makes the stay here wonderful. Welcoming host, clear and helpful communication, and an absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous views. The casita has everything needed, with a private enclosed patio and two other private outdoor seating areas to enjoy as well. It's location a few minutes north of Santa Fe makes it a retreat with easy access to the city, as well as several other destinations in the area.

Opera stay

This is a lovely casita nestled in the hills north of Santa Fe. Excellent for romantic getaway while being just 15 minutes from the heart of the city. The house is in excellent shape with a large front patio and a side patio plus a sitting area above high all have views of the mountains. Like all properties in the hills area access is by dirt or gravel roads which can be a little tricky late at night but that’s the price you pay for seclusion. Owners were very responsive and easy to contact. We had a terrific time there.

Incredible views

The property is located in s beautiful area. It was super clean, well equipped, lovely welcome with greeting card and wine. The only issue we had was that we rented the place for a mixed group of four individuals and there was only one king bed and 1 sofa bed. That made sleeping arrangements somewhat problematic. However, the location of the property and the lovely interior made up for it. It is an ideal place for 2 people or a couple with children.

Comfy Place to Work and Relax

The casita was clean, comfy, and quiet. Only 20 minutes drive from Santa Fe. Owners live on same lot, but kept my space and time private. Lovely surprise viewpoints on property, too! Be aware: driveway is not paved and pretty steep. My 2-wheel drive compact made it, but in muddy/snowy weather be sure to bring more horses. Bedroom also not separate (no door), and heater/ducts can be loud at night. I would for sure stay again--thanks to the owners for a clean, private, and rejuvenating stay :)

Wonderful Casita!

My husband and I wanted to spend a few days in the Santa Fe area but didn't want to stay in a downtown hotel. The Casita in Tesuque was a perfect choice! We arrived tired from a long drive to find a bottle wine which we took to a charming seating area up and behind the casita to watch sunset. So beautiful! Gina and Vince are gracious hosts and the casita is stocked with eveything you need, including cushy bathrobes and a lovely outdoor patio. We enjoyed visiting the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, the Bandelier National Monument, the Valles Caldera and Hyde State Park. Dinner at the Tesuque Market was delicious! Thank you Gina and Vince for sharing this little piece of heaven with us!

Lovely Casita with courtyard and fireplace

This property outside of Santa Fe provided the quiet we wanted. The directions provided by the owner were very helpful, and communication was helpful as she checked in on us to ensure we had all we needed. There is a short, lighted path off the small porch, with beautiful carved wooden seating at the top to enjoy sunset views and the dark sky. The Casita is well provisioned, and we enjoyed wine left by the host in the lovely, private courtyard where chairs/fireplace and grill are available. There is a manual with instructions for the home, as well as suggestions for various activities, grocery stores and restaurants. If you are looking for privacy and a beautiful, quiet area, this will work well!

very nice, clean, little casita.

We did make reservations back in the summer for 4 nights then later we shortened it by one day before the dateline to be fully reimbursed 100%. It still a mess to be reimbursed accordantly. They still charged the same amount for 3 nights than the original charges for 4 nights and messing up the guests amount too. Been on the phone with VRBO and email the host several times.The place itself is wonderful. Very private with firepit outside and fireplace inside, wood provided. There is this little place up the Casita where you can sit at night and watch the beautiful starry sky. It is very clean. Just one king size bed and pullout sofa. It was well decorated for Christmas. If you go during snowing roads, you'll need tire chains to get there. Would love to stay there again in the future.

When we first bought this property it was on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and we started as one of those "looky lookers" had no intentions on buying a home here, we just wanted to look around at homes but when we drove up to this property, the first thing I did was run up the hill and fell in love with the views here. I didn't even look at the house, it was all about the surrounding views. And was lucky this home had this guest house. We had hoped family & friends would come & visit us but then they bought their own homes. So it doesn't get used as much and hence came the idea to selectively rent it out.

Undoubtedly, the views will engulf you. You can't take enough pictures here in this "Land of Enchantment". It is food for the soul. We have ample stuff to do here. If you like to hike, bike ride, fishing and exploring, it's all here. We have the Arts, Museums, Fine dining and Entertainment.
