Hello my name is Monica and after a life living in different countries I am now living in Merida, Mexico full time. I have been buying and renovating houses here since 2011 when I first came here and felt in love with the city and particularly my neighborhood called Santa Lucia.
Why they chose this property
Casa Santa Lucia was my very first home and the two main reasons I felt in love with it was its colonial beauty and its location which is not only central but very close to the best restaurants and activities Merida has to offer.
What makes this property unique
The house is a large two storey colonial home built in 1903 and renovated in 2012.
Its fantastic location is one block away from the parque Santa Lucia which is the nicest park in town with the best restaurants and musical /dance activities on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons.
Rooms are large and include 2 large bedrooms ( one on the main floor and one, the master, on the upper floor. The master bedroom has an Ensuite bathroom and a terrace.
The living room with comfortable sofas and large TV is located on the upper floor with accessibility to a second full bathroom.
On the main floor, in addition to the second bedroom, there is a large entrance, a complete fully equipped kitchen, half bathroom with washer and dryer, and a dining room.
