Westwind 504 is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo with stunning Gulf-front views from the 5th floor. Westwind is located just one mile west of Hwy. 59 in Gulf Shores.



• Access to the balcony is from the living room



• Vinyl plank flooring is throughout the unit



• The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you could need in your home away from home. The dining area seats four, with two barstools for additional seating.



• A washer and dryer are inside the unit



• The living room has a sleeper sofa



• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed



• The second bedroom has a queen-size bed



• There are also twin bunk beds built into an alcove in the hallway, perfect for the children. (*Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.)

We arrived when the elevator was broke, it quickly got resolved and itrip offered to help us in the morning if it was not fixed- we had an elderly family member so it needed to work. Overall, the condo was nice. Could use a little sprucing up, but worked well for us as a family of 5.

Check in was super easy. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Amazing view of the ocean. The patio furniture was comfortable- we sat on it for hours waiting out rain. We really like staying at Westwind. It’s a smaller building, quicker access to the beach. It’s also close to many of the restaurants we like to go to. We will for sure stay in this unit again.

The location to the beach was awesome & it was within walking distance to many restaurants & shops. The downfalls: washer & dryer were really load, the dishwasher couldn’t be opened all the way because the fridge sticks out to far & I got locked in the master bedroom because the lock was broken.

Overall, the stay was ok. Pros: the condo was decorated beautifully. TVs were excellent. Communicating with the rental managers was efficient. They offered a box fan when I notified them of the temp in the main bedroom. They had a lot of items needed for cooking. Cons: the main bedroom was significantly warmer than the rest of the condo. If you like it cold when you sleep, I would not suggest this unit. The bathroom door in master bedroom wouldn’t shut all the way unless you really used force. Then when you open it, it was so incredibly loud. It would wake anyone up sleeping. You could not pull the dishwasher all the way out because it hit the refrigerator. This did make loading and unloading cumbersome. There is no storage space for food items. We ended up leaving all of our grocery items on the counter because there wasn’t cabinet space. Wall behind the chair in living room looks like it’s been patched and not painted over. I would suggest bringing your own Tupperware. The lids on the ones provided often wouldn’t close all the way. The elevator was broken for 3-4 days out of our stay. No bathroom at the pool, meaning you had to go up to your room to use the restroom. No garbage can at the pool. Overall, it was fine. It did the job. I feel like fixing the air in the master and the bathroom door in the master would be a significant improvement. Maybe suggest a garbage can at the pool to the property managers.

The condo was perfect. Easy access to the beach. We had no problem parking. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Chairs are available to rent right in front of the condo. And as always the gulf coast beach was spectacular. We would stay here again.
