Pocos minutos a pie de la estación Newton Center T, a pocas paradas del centro de Boston y del área médica de Longwood. Cinco minutos a pie de parques infantiles, restaurantes y pubs, tiendas. ¿Quieres nadar o simplemente caminar alrededor del lago? dé un paseo de diez minutos hasta Crystal Lake, linda vista y área de baño con socorristas. El lugar también está a poca distancia a pie de Boston Collage.
Nos encantan las antigüedades y hemos decorado este espacio con parte de nuestra colección. El lugar es agradable y acogedor apartamento de 4 dormitorios, un primer piso de una casa de dos pisos, tiene una entrada privada y la única área compartida es la sala de lavandería. El lugar incluye amplia sala de estar, comedor, baño / ducha. La cocina cuenta con estufa y horno, cafetera, tostadora, microondas y 1 mini refrigerador y 1 refrigerador midi. Las habitaciones de cama configuradas: una habitación con cama de matrimonio y 3 dormitorios con camas individuales. Puede alojar hasta 8 personas (3 personas adicionales pueden dormir en la sala de estar con 3 colchones adicionales).

We had a wonderful stay with our family of seven. The owners were very helpful.

When we arrived late at night the home was ready for us. The owners left us water bottles and breakfast foods due to late arrival. That was so helpful and we didn't have to get up and go grocery shopping right away. We will stay again if we get a chance.

Not ready for guests. Needs work.

The first thing that was troubling was that upon our arrival we encountered a set of steep stone steps with a railing that was extremely short to the point where one had to bend over to use it. It was not safe, especially for children or older persons. When we reached to door, the entrance was very run down looking. There was a sign on the door that requested shoe removal, which is a reasonable thing to ask, however, the carpet was not at all clean and had several large stains throughput the unit. The living room was fine, and furnished with comfortable chairs, a sofa and a working TV. A nearby nook had a desk but no pens, pencils or paper were to be found. The ceilings in the unit are extremely low because it is a basement apartment. The kitchen was big enough to handle one person comfortably. The toaster was old and rusted and looked like it should have been disposed of. Very few amenities were found such as coffee, soaps, etc. The temperature was comfortable. Except for the two bedrooms at the front of the house, the windows were close to the ceiling. The mattresses were not comfortable, being on the hard side. Mine was actually slanted down on one end. Probably the most uncomfortable place in the unit was the bathroom. The ceiling was almost head level and having no window made it feel really claustrophobic. The shower was so small that I’m sure it would be difficult to raise your arms or move around for a man. The exhaust fan worked intermittently. There was a bath mat on the floor that looked questionable with regard to cleanliness. On the ceiling and walls, large pieces of paint were peeling off, covering the area with chips that could easily fall on the floor. The guest towels looked old and marked and felt very rough and scratchy, almost like they had been washed and line dried. I feel bad about giving such a poor review but in my opinion, improvements definitely need to be made before accepting guests in the future. On a more positive note, the area is beautiful and surrounded by lovely homes in the area. The town of Newton is definitely within walking distance and is delightful. It’s filled with parks, shops and restaurants.

A simple and convenient no-frills place. clean and excellent communication equity host.

The host was a pleasure to deal with. This place is a no-frills but sufficient space for a short stay. The place was very clean with clear signs to find all essentials. The host left us some nice snacks and essentials to welcome us.

Great place to stay - super comfortable beds and everything you need. Lots of cafes/restaurants etc. in close walking distance and lovely area, easy to get into Boston Centre. Hosts were great.

Great Stay

Newton allows easy access to Boston without the worry of parking and major traffic. The apartment had great character that gave us a fabulous oasis to being right on top of each other all day in the city. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. We enjoyed our two nights and would stay here if we come back into the Boston area. The bagels, cookies, milk, and juice were such a nice touch welcoming us until we could hit the grocery store. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!!!

Cozy rental in Newton

What an adorable place to stay while we moved our daughter into BC. Homeowner was a pleasure to deal with. Shops and places to eat are very close by. Beautiful neighborhood to enjoy on walks. Will definitely be back.

Roomy, good location

The location was perfect for our stay and we had loads of room. The "buts" are: mattress in the three rooms we used were very uncomfortable. While the kitchen had two dorm size fridges there was a gallon of open milk and half gallon of open juice. Of course, we were not going to use either, since they had been opened. So they sat in the small space we had.. taking up room. The pans, kitchen tools, etc. looked like whatever owners didn't want from their kitchen. Small skillet wasn't usable, nonstick at one time, completely worn, scraped off, probably from the only spatula there, giant metal grill size. They did leave bagels and unopened cream cheese, nice touch. Overall, nice people, just need a quick trip to Walmart or Target for a few kitchen items.

A unique apartment that lets you feel like a local

As former residence of Newton we wanted to relive being a local with our kids. This worked so well - easy walk to the T, could cook breakfast and simple other meals, and had space for us all to chill after galavanting around Boston all day. Thanks for a great place.

Clean and bright in excellent location,, with comfy beds

Property owner was a pleasure to work with, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. High quality mattresses, pillows and linens. Kitchen is small but functional. Nice living room. Location excellent for walking to Newton Center. Beautiful neighborhood, many good places for food and the T within a short walk. Only slight comment is that if you are highly sensitive to noise, it is the bottom apartment of a duplex, and you can hear people and plumbing above. Also the morning light is very bright. Nothing an eyemask and a pair of earplugs couldn't handle, and we didn't bother using any even though we always travel with some, just in case. (It would have mattered if the upstairs folks were noisier, but they really weren't.) We would be delighted to stay here again.

Great for a family group

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the place was very spacious for our extended family group of 7. The location is convenient to take the T into the city for site-seeing and shopping. Overall this was a great lodging experience!

A confined basement

Despite the nice behavior of the owner, the standard of the housing is not at the level expected. The appartement looks like a basement, very dark , the beds are soft and the bathroom is too small for 6.

Beautiful little place, fully equipped with everything we could've needed

It was a beautiful little home with everything we could've needed, including a nice little breakfast! Suha was very sweet, gave us instructions on where to park and how to get in and everything was a breeze. The neighborhood was gorgeous and a short walk to the Newton center train station. Overall fantastic stay while there

Lots of small rooms for you to get away. Very comfortable and lots of personal touches.

The homeowners where very quick to respond to any messages or questions that I had. When we arrived we had complete instructions on what to do and we're quickly met personally to make sure that we have everything we needed. We arrived to a bag of cookies, cold water in the fridge and fresh fruit on the table. There were signs everywhere to explain where supplies were kept. We truly felt like we were part of her home. She let us have our privacy but was very willing to help us out if we needed anything. We did have shared access to a washer and dryer which made our trip much more comfortable so that we did not have to pack and lug around as many clothes. Be prepared for a tight bathroom but it had everything that we needed. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough. The convenience of the location mixed with the gorgeous neighborhood made this place five stars in my book.
