Un apartamento amplio y luminoso que da a Valletta y Fort St. Angelo, en uno de los puertos más importantes históricamente del Mediterráneo.
Este apartamento cuenta con un amplio balcón con vistas completas al Gran Puerto, donde puede ver muchos yates, veleros, cruceros y otras actividades mientras disfruta de su desayuno o una copa de vino.

El apartamento

Totalmente renovado en mayo de 2016, el apartamento combina tradición (se encuentra en las famosas "Tres ciudades") y modernidad. A un tiro de piedra de Valletta en ferry o en un taxi tradicional llamado Dghajsa (die-sa), desde aquí puede visitar las partes más históricas de Malta y otros lugares de interés.

Hemos creado un apartamento amplio y luminoso decorado con arte local, que incluye todas las comodidades modernas que uno necesita durante las vacaciones. Por supuesto, proporcionamos toallas y ropa de cama, algunos artículos de baño, utensilios de cocina y un plano de planta abierto para ayudar a que su estadía sea relajada y sin trabas.

El vecindario

Senglea, también conocida por su título Città Invicta (o Civitas Invicta), es una ciudad fortificada en la región sudoriental de Malta. Es una de las Tres Ciudades, las otras dos son Cospicua y Vittoriosa, y tiene una población de poco menos de tres mil personas. El título de la ciudad Città Invicta se le dio porque logró resistir la invasión otomana en el Gran Asedio de Malta en 1565. El nombre es Senglea ya que el Gran Maestro, quien lo construyó, Claude de la Sengle, le dio a esta ciudad una parte de su nombre.

Hoy, Senglea está experimentando un renacimiento, ya que turistas y lugareños buscan unas vacaciones más genuinas que combinen autenticidad con comodidad. Aquí encontrarás los equipos de regatas locales que practican sus habilidades de remo, los artistas que pintan los colores de la vida del pueblo, el mercado de pulgas local el domingo y el mercado de alimentos el martes y, por supuesto, los fuegos artificiales durante las muchas fiestas celebradas durante el año.

I’ve reviewed this property before from a stay in April 2025 …. I said then we’d be back and this stay was just as lovely before. Everything about this property and how it’s managed is fabulous. The host team are welcoming and helpful and the apartment is beautiful, I just love the interior design.

What a beautiful apartment, large, bright and airy with a fantastic view and walking distance to restaurants. There was everything you needed for the perfect stay. Eric, the host, was wonderful, very friendly and answered any questions prior to arriving very quickly and was on hand during our stay if we needed anything. The lovely Frances organised our pick up by taxi from and to the airport, she checked us in, explained how everything worked. Being in the holiday rental industry myself I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment in the most beautiful non commercialised area of Malta. We had the most delicious rib eye steak at Tar-Rixu on the waterfront and prices were very good. We will certainly return.

Luxurious comfort in superb location - Malta at its best!

Exquisitely appointed in luxury, comfort, elegance, and style, this georgeous apartment is superbly located with breathtaking views of Valletta just a short, enjoyable ferry or dghajsa boat ride away. Access to all parts of the harbour is easy and fun. Great thoughtfulness has gone into making this the perfect place to stay, from universal powerpoints and usb ports next to the bed in the main bedroom to a well stocked kitchen and laundry and thick, fluffy towels. Eric, Michael and Frances are gracious, charming hosts who supported and enhanced our stay. From well before we arrived communication was responsive, generous and helpful. The clear driving directions sent via WhatsApp got us close to the apartment to be met by Eric who helped with bags, and parking. Nothing, even arriving at midnight, was a problem. In fact, Eric offered to shop for us to ensure we had breakfast. Important documents sent from Australia to be delivered did not arrive as expected during our stay. Eric kindly organised to post them on for us. Advice about getting around, key destinations to explore, and good restaurants, which are abundant, was very much appreciated. The apartment also had guides and maps to help with planning our activities. Eric and Michael also run a magnificent small, beautifully appointed boutique hotel, Senglea Suites, nearby that has fantastic rooms and panoramic views of Valletta and surrounds from the terraced rooftop. Both the apartment and hotel are utterly superb!

It’s a fabulous view

This property is really lovely and in an excellent location overlook Valletta. The property has everything you need for a really comfortable stay. Malta has a lot of interesting things to see so we will look to return soon. Frances and Eric were very helpful and responsive.

Fabulous

Breathtaking views, beautiful fully equipped and modern apartment. The host was extremely helpful and we also met the owner who was just as lovely. Great places to eat and drink, in both Senglea and across the water in Valletta. The apartment truly has the best views over the Grand Harbour. We didn't want to leave!

Incredibile view in a beautiful apartment

We were contacted in advance to confirm our travel arrangements and offered assistance for options to reach the apartment. We were then met on arrival and made to feel very welcome by Frances. The apartment was beautifully appointed with everything you might need for a stay including beach towels. The view is so special, you could spend hours just watching the ever changing harbour with boats large and small. However the magnificent Valetta is just across the water and is a gateway to other parts of Malta. A perfect holiday made so easy by the hosts.

Wonderful apartment with exceptional view

We had a wonderful stay, Eric and Frances were super Hosts and the apartment is exactly as described. It’s in a quiet area, no problem with parking and the view is just great. 10 minutes walk to the water taxi and from there it’s 5 minutes to Valetta. Many thanks Eric and Frances, we will surely be back!

Amazing apartment, despite the weather

Despite appalling, unseasonal weather the apartment was perfect. The vast windows gave us fascinating views in sun, rain, wind and mist. Everything was designed for comfort and convenience. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely perfect!

Everything about this property is wonderful. The Senglea location is fabulous, offering a somewhat slower pace than Valletta which is a mere 5 minute boat ride away. The apartment is huge, beautifully appointed and perfect for a family, two couples or singles who want some room to breathe! The two ensuite bathrooms are large and beautifully appointed and the bedrooms spacious and very comfortable. The entire apartment is light and airy, well equipped, spotlessly clean and far beyond comfortable. The hosts/owners were extremely helpful and cooperative with our booking/Covid concerns and went out of their way to accommodate us while we solved our issues with Malta’s non-EU vaccine requirements. The views are simply spectacular. We spent an amazing three weeks here from mid September to early October and this apartment was truly a home away from home. We cannot wait to return!

The Perfect Vacation Rental

I could go on and on saying good things about our stay here. Frances arranged a cab for us from the airport to the flat, and took a long time showing us around. The flat is every bit a beautiful as it looks in the photos, and the view really has to be the best in Grand Harbor. Having 2 beautiful en suite bathrooms was fantastic as we were 2 couples. From the shower in the master bathroom you can see the bastions of Valetta in the mirror. What a way to start your day. There are several restaurants on the nearby sea front, so we ended up either eating out or having a take away from the restaurants every night. No need for cooking, Yay! However, if you had wanted to cook the kitchen is fully equiped and Eric even purchased a blender as we like to make blender drinks. There are several small convenience stores close by. I already miss sitting out on the balcony having sundowners every night, watching the ships and boats go by!

Die Aussicht ist spektakulär, die Wohnung sehr geräumig und mit modernster Ausstattung. Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, haben sich sogar um unsere Transfers vom und zum Flughafen gekümmert. Auch die Insel ist stets einen Besuch wert, sogar im November hatten wir hier angenehme 16 - 20°C. Dieser Platz und diese Wohnung sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Täglich haben wir den atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den Grand Harbour genossen. Einfach wundervoll!!! In der mit viel Liebe und Stil eingerichteten Wohnung haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den zwei Schlafzimmern mit separater Dusche und WC ist die Wohnung bestens eingerichtet für 4 Erwachsene Personen. Gerne kehren wir wieder nach Malta und Valletta zurück. Schon heute wissen wir, wo wir gerne wohnen möchten. Diese Location ist nicht zu übertreffen. Regula, Elisabeth, Marcel, Christoph aus der Schweiz

Fabulous Stay in Senglea, Malta

We decided to organise a four day break in Malta over New Year for our family of five. Having visited many other parts of the island this time we decided to experience the Three Cities and fell in love with the view from the photography on the VRBO website. Quite often hotels and apartments are not as fantastic "in the flesh" but this one is even better. The view exceeded our wildest expectations and I would encourage anyone looking for a "view" to not hesitate. The photographs reflect accurately the facilities but actually upon arrival we were even more amazed at how a "rental" could be presented so beautifully with no stone un-turned. The superior five star finishing touches included lovely linens, beach towels, fleece blankets in the bedrooms, rush mats for the sand, toiletries in the en-suite bathrooms as well as hairdryers. Gorgeous china, glasses and a vast array of equipment can be found in the modern fully equipped kitchen. Our three teenage children loved the wide screen TV with multiple channels and, of course, the WIFI. There were no more luxuries that we could have required. The Christmas decorations and stockings full of sweets hanging in the entry to the apartment were delightful. It was all spectacular. The high quality lighting increased the ambience - by the time we left we had worked out the floor lights, the picture lights, the spots and the ceiling lights! We felt warm and cosy in a home away from home and would love to return for a longer period of time one day. Eric and Michael made us feel so welcome and did everything to ensure that the arrangements went smoothly. We all so enjoyed the opportunity of a New Year drink with them and we wish them both much success in welcoming many more discerning guests to their gorgeous property. For first time visitors to the island renting somewhere with a view like this is not "normal" it is "incredible".

Absolute Spitze!

Die Bilder sind vielversprechend, die Realität ist noch viel besser und übersteigt jede Erwartungshaltung. Der Blick vom Balkon auf Hafen und Altstadt von Valletta ist einzigartig und verleitet dazu, das Apartment überhaupt nicht mehr zu verlassen. Statt dessen lieber den ein- und auslaufenden Schiffen zuzuschauen. Jedes Detail der Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt ausgewählt worden, es fehlt an Nichts. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt bald wieder!

Perfect and and very nice

A great location: the apartment is very very nice, cool and modern interior and equipment and not to forget the great view on the Harbour. Also the owners are very very kind, sympathic and take care of you. The organization (check-in, check-out, hand-over) and tips to visit was execellent. We (4 people) had a really great time in this place and will come back again because of this nice locations and the kind owners
