We own and self-manage two beautiful properties in Maui. If your dates are not available here, please check out our other property in historic downtown Lahaina (VRBO Listing #487882), 2 blocks to Front Street, the harbor & 505 beach.

Not a peek-a-boo view, not an "ocean view" over the roof of other properties. We have a GORGEOUS, SPECTACULAR, DIRECT, UNOBSTRUCTED OCEAN & SUNSET VIEW! Our unit is one of the handful located in the very front of the complex of 316 units. It is in most desirable oceanview 'H' cluster looking directly west into the ocean, it is closet to the popular golden sandy Kamaole III beach (~200 feet away). From the comfort of your own private lanai/patio, you will enjoy the amazing nightly sunset, spotting breaching whales in season and enjoy your coffee while watching the paddleboards passing by...

In July 2014, we finished a complete high-end remodel including new kitchen and 2 new bathrooms with granite counters & cherry cabinets, new tile bath showers, all new stainless steel appliances, new washer/dryer, new hot water heater, crown molding, new light fixtures, new fans, new faucets, new interior doors and painting and much more. In 2012, we put in new tile flooring through out, all new furniture, brand new heavenly California King bed. Our condo is in very nice condition with amazing ocean and sunset view, as you can see from the guest comments on the vrbo site.

Maui Kamaole is Kihei's newest first-class condominium resort property with 34 building clusters totalling 316 units. The buildings are low-rise, low-density, it offers peaceful privacy in a beautifully landscaped setting of tropical flowers, plants and palms. It is ranked one of the top three condo complexes rated next to Grand Wailea Hotel , but with a fraction of room cost in Grand Wailea which averages ~$1000 per night. South Maui has the best weather in all of Maui. Climate is warm and sunny year around with clam ocean in the morning, lighter trade winds in the afternoon and very little rainfall compared to other areas of maui. The high temperature will average 80F in the winter and 86F in the summer with clear blue skies all year around. South Maui has better reefs, numerous great beaches that are less crowded and beach access don't get filled up often.

Matt and Shu ('Sue') live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy the warm and sunny Maui weather as a break from the cloudy weather back home. We're both software geeks. We're avid hikers and snokelers, so if you are looking for great places to hike or snorkel in Maui let us know. We've worked very hard on our condo to get it updated/remodeled, keep it clean and well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Maui.

Since 2007, we have been coming to Maui several times a year and find ourselves splitting time between south Maui (Kihei/Wailea) and West Maui (Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili) every time. In 2012, we were very fortunate to own this amazing ocean view property in south Kihei. We are now blessed to also own a beautiful unit in the heart of historical Lahaina, a short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, Banyan Tree Park, Lahaina Harbor and activities etc.

By offering these beautiful properties to you as our guest, we hope you will enjoy them as home away from home and create fond memories.

Location, location, location. As the Hawaiian saying: 'Maui no ka oi' (Maui is the best). Maui Kamaole is an unique luxury condominium resort in Kihei, just ask around. Our unit is one of the handful units that is located in the front row and has a direct ocean and sunset view. Kama'ole beach III, one of the nicest beaches in the world, is ~200 ft from our condo.

What makes this condo unique

Best location, view and amenities: DIRECT ocean/sunset view. Complete high-end remodel July 2014. First floor Lanai short walking distance (~200 ft) to beach. Free WiFi. 2 large flat screen TVs, internet (Netflix etc) enabled. Cable TV. High speed internet with latest router (verified with PC latptop, iPhone and Windows Phone). California king bed in master with 600 count sheets. Queen size sleeper sofa in living room. Complete remodel in July 2014. All new furniture.

Our unit is 200 ft from the beach. There is no long haul to the beach. You'll love dinner on the Lanai while the sun sets over the ocean. We have the latest high speed internet and latest wireless routers setup for great internet access - at no additional charge. Also includes one parking stall near the unit entrance.

An amazing first trip to Hawaii! The amenities were carefully considered and we loved mixing dining out with food prep at home. Very clean and well situated in relation to restaurants and the beach. Great on-site pool and helpful residents. Loved it! Will return!

Paradise in H 105

This is the second time we have stayed in H105, and our accommodations were as nice this time as they were the first. Comfortably furnished, the unit's kitchen and bathrooms are high quality, as is the equipment in the kitchen. The view from the lanai is spectacular. The helpful owners are easy to work and communicate with. We highly recommend this unit and these owners.

Suited Us Perfectly

We are a couple in our mid sixties and this was our first trip to Maui. We spent 11 days on the island and enjoyed a wonderful time exploring the area and just plain relaxing at the condo's lanai, on the beach and at the complex's pools. Our choice to stay at Matt and Shu's rental surely contributed significantly to a very pleasant overall experience. We came across the condo on a VRBO website and after reading the write up and reviews of previous guests decided to book it and have absolutely no regrets about our decision to do so. It is a nice ground floor condo in quiet surroundings, and the reserved parking spot is very close. It is located near the beach and a park with outside showers, washrooms and shade trees as well as all the things going on in Kihei and Wailea. If you decide this place suits your needs and stay here I am confident you will be happy with your decision.

Great vacation!

The property was perfect for what we needed. Quiet and peaceful location with a great view for the nightly sunset. Quite a few snow-birds stay within a few units of this one so you may be treated to nightly conch shell blowing as well. Loved the Tommy Bahama chairs for carting our stuff to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Extraordinary stay...

This condo is everything you could hope for...everything is top notch, very clean--and the sunset view is the best. The owners were wonderful to work with, too. Just a walk across the street (crosswalk is right there) and a walking path gets you to the nicest beach in Maui, as far as we are concerned. We walked it every morning for a beautiful start to the day.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets and the ocean from the comfort of your private lanai. Ocean view framed by the islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokini. Steps to Kamaole III Beach, one of the best beach in Maui. Whale watching from lanai in season. Snorkeling, boogie boarding/body surfing, surfacing are all within walking distance. Nice walking and jogging path into Wailea. Tennis courts, 2 Pools + 2 jacuzzis in the complex.
