Absolutely wonderful property! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Lots of things to do for adults as well as children. No one ever got bored. We're an avid family of cooks and appreciated the large kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, baking dishes, bowls and our size wine glasses...:) The hosts were very quick at responding to all of our questions! Check in and out was a breeze. We've been members of VRBO for many years and this is one of the best rentals we've stayed at. Thanks again for sharing your remarkable property.

We had a fantastic family vacation at River Retreat. We loved the spacious kitchen space and the enormous kitchen island really fit the needs of our group of 12. The air conditioning was a god send that first day with the smoking air, The covered deck facing the water was so peaceful and relaxing. We took advantage of the water access and all the fun outdoor activities. Thanks again for the quick communication responses as well. We are already talking about a return visit!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a group of 11 and it never felt cramped.There were lots of activies for everyone and the hot tub was great. Beds, pillows and bedding all seemed new and were comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, quite a few spices too

Comfortable, clean and warm. Very good thoughtful features for children. Very well equipped, good hot tub and just 30 minutes from White Pass ski area. Close to Packwood that has a good brewery. Enjoyable stay and an attentive host.

Great stay

We had a great stay here for a big family getaway weekend. Clean and lovely property and we enjoyed a quick cold plunge in the river before hopping in the hot tub. Hopefully we’ll be able to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the fire pit and the kids can use the playground.

We were a group of six adults and six kids and had an absolutely amazing stay! Kiddos ages arranged from 11 to 3 and we were never without something for them to do or explore. With only about an hour away from Mount Rainier, it was the perfect base Camp. Beds were super cozy. Families didn’t feel too crowded and the hot tub was a huge hit. The best part of this house though was how well appointed the kitchen was and LABELED! Such a lovely little detail to have everything in the kitchen labeled before you go opening every single drawer, loved it! Can’t wait to come back

We loved everything about the river retreat. It was right after new years and we needed the refresh for the new year upon us. Very relaxing and comfortable, hosts did awesome at explaining everything needed. Everything is labeled and helps without having to reach out to the hosts constantly. Very fun place, the river set for an amazing view and great place the relax. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect Stay! They thought of everything

This place was perfect for our group over spring Break. It rained over half the time but there was so much to do at the house we still had a blast! The fire tower and fire table were great because we sat out in the deck a ton! Also saw a ton of Elk.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here! A large property with plenty of well maintained amenities, spacious home, secluded and immersed in nature. Very comfortable beds, pillows, and linens. We loved the chargers next to the beds - so handy especially to charge our travel battery packs, phones, watches. The only feedback we have is to add curtains to the additional room outside and one of the upstairs bedrooms and it would have been nice to have some more fleece blankets throughout the house. My friends and I agreed that we would definitely stay here again!

Fun weekend stay

There were some minor/inconvenient issues with the property but overall we had a good time. Lots of fun outdoor games and garage hangout. Great kitchen that has just of what you would need. Beds were comfy. Property could be a little better taken care of, some small things were broken/ didn't work/ weren't cleaned well. But nothing that really hindered our stay.

This place was absolutely amazing. We planned on spending more time in the woods, but with everything this place had to offer we ended up spending more time at the cabin then in the woods and dont regret it all! The beds were comfortable and every room you walked in dropped your jaw. The view was PERFECT. My one and only complaint was that this is one of the few places ive found around this location that doesnt supply the firewood as part of your stay, and with the price its at, i kind of hoped they would. But they do give you information and where you can buy wood, and they also allow you to bring your own firewood from home. So overall not that big of a deal, but would love to see them supply the wood in the future. Im already booking another stay here later after the first experience was so amazing!
