Just 4.5 miles from the beaches of Fenwick Island, DE., convenient to the Bethany Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD resort areas. Our condo is located in the Sun Ridge community of Bayside, adjacent to the Sun Ridge Pool and Recreation Center. Bayside is an upscale family oriented resort community on the Delaware Shore.

Why Dave and Maryhelen chose Sun Ridge
Dave vacationed in Ocean City, MD while growing up and has been coming back to this area ever since. Our family has enjoyed vacations in the Fenwick area for many years with our kids, and we vacationed at Bayside numerous times before we purchased our unit in 2015. Bayside offers the best of both worlds - it is a quiet family oriented community with amazing amenities, but still close to the beaches of Bethany, Fenwick Island and Ocean City.

Perfect for our extended family-great location!for beach/dining/golf and shopping!
A beautiful and comfortable condo. It was immaculately clean! Our family of 5 adults and 2 toddlers had plenty of space. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. Having a full size washer/drier was so convenient. The private storage space, right next to the apartment, had new beach chairs and other necessities-so nice not to have to bring them from home. We enjoyed many of the amenities-pool/splash park, playground, paddle boards, golf and gym. So worth the extra resort fees. Other guests and staff were all so friendly. The Food Lion Grocery store was less than 5 minutes away and Foxes Pizza was right outside the main entrance-great pizza and delicious Old Bay wings! We loved that this Fenwick Island location is so convenient and in the middle of Rehoboth and Ocean City-both about 30 minutes in either direction, which is why we picked it as we visit them all. Wi-Fi was great. The only downside was the cell phone service within the condo, but, once outside there was no problem. When visiting this area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Dave and Maryhellen were great hosts and so nice to work with. Come and enjoy!
A Beautiful Condo at Bayside
A beautiful and very comfortable condo. Very nicely furnished. It was immaculately clean! We were 4 adults and two kids, 8 1/2 and 5 1/2 and had plenty of space. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that could be added would be a TV in the master bedroom. A second TV set would eliminate some arguing over what to watch, especially when Game of Thrones is on. The full-size washer and dryer were very convenient. The kitchen had every utensil imaginable. Plenty of mugs, glasses, plates, as well as pots and pans etc. The private storage space, right next to the apartment, had beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and a boogie board. It was nice not having to bring our own beach gear. We all enjoyed the pool/splash park and the kayaking. Having the pool and splash park directly behind the building (literally a 3-minute walk) was really great. Well worth the extra resort fees. Staff members were all very friendly. The Harris Tweeter Grocery and CVS were right outside the main gate while the Food Lion grocery store was less than 5 minutes away and Foxes Pizza and a liquor store were right outside the main entrance. A BP Gas Station was also opposite the main entrance on Route 54 (Lighthouse Rd) while an Exxon station was just down the road. We loved this location as it was convenient to Bethany Beach (15 minutes north) while Ocean City (south) and Rehoboth (north) were approximately 30 minutes away. Wi-Fi worked well with the only downside being that the cell phone service within the condo was spotty. You had to move around the condo to get a strong signal although, once outside there was no problem. The screened-in balcony, with a table, 2 chairs and a padded bench was a very feature. The one indoor parking spot is located directly across from the elevator. Numerous non-reserved parking spots can be found just a few steps from the building. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Dave and Maryhellen were great hosts. They were great to work with. Come and enjoy!
My family and I had another terrific vacation at Bayside again this year. David and Maryhelen's home is so clean and beautifully decorated. It is also close to everything that Bayside has to offer, my kids ages 9 & 13 spent most of the time at Sun Ridge pool (directly behind condo) and the basketball hoops. We enjoyed fishing, crabbing, kayaking and of course the beach!!! The condo had everything we needed for the week including the comfortable beach chairs and umbrella. Look forward to vacationing here again in the future!!

What a great condo!!!
I rented this condo for a golf trip for myself, my brother, cousin and friend. The guys can't stop raving about the place and already want to make a return trip next year. The condo is in immaculate condition. The condo overall was well decorated and the kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need. I think I want to live there lol. Working with Dave and Maryhelen was a pleasure and the easiest booking you'll ever experience. Don't miss out on this place!

The Bayside Marketplace is located at the entrance to the community and offers a Harris Teeter grocery store, liquor store, Foxes Pizza Den Restaurant, PNC Bank, Blue Scoop Ice Cream Shop, and a CVS Pharmacy.

A Bayside Resort Fee is required in order to use the amenities at Bayside (pools, kayaking, fitness center, beach shuttle, etc.). Fees during the Summer Season (May 25 - Sept. 3) are $55 per guest for an 8 day pass, or $40 for a 3 day pass. Passes are required for guests ages 5 and over. Resort fees are lower during Shoulder and Off Season (contact owner for rates).
