Al Markaziyah West vacation rentals

We are staying in the 2-bedroom grand suite. Hotel is in great location, easy walking distance to the beach, to a mall and grocery store. The rooms are good size and comfortable. The kitchen is small but functional (wish there was a dishwashing machine). The staff is excellent. Julie is absolutely fabulous, and the whole staff is friendly and very helpful. There is access to a roof-top pool at a nearby hotel. The hotel is also very kid friendly. We are staying with our two small children. The nearby World Trade Center mall(5 min walk) has a children's play area (paid but reasonable). If your child is over 5 there is an option for day care, if under 5 you cannot leave them. There is a dry cleaner 1 min walk from the hotel. There are four restaurants in the WTC mall that have full bars (in an area called the HUB). The Pizza Express restaurant has a nice band and good pizza. Parking is a problem. The hotel charges 20 AED ($5) per day for having the staff park your car. There is a blue parking meter where you can pay yourself for 15 AED per day, but you must have coins or a UAE credit card. Foreign cards are not accepted. On Friday's parking is free, but there are almost never any spots vacant. The windows to the flat are sealed shut. Access to the "balcony" which is a 1 square meter closet with a window that is normally locked. The staff will provide a key upon request. This is the only window which will open to allow fresh air into the room.
