Consider this house your home away from home while you visit the Crane Hill area on Smith lake. This beautiful property boasts 4 bedrooms, including 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 2 sets of twin bed. With amenities like incredible boat dock, wonderful views of beautiful Smith lake, fire pit, den for kids and outdoor entertaining. Covered screen porch living area to sit at night or on one of the many porches to dine by the stars while cooking on either the charcoal grill and smoker. Kitchen is fully stocked for guests will have everything they need for a fantastic family gathering.
One of best dock on Smith lake with 2 slips, small refrigerator closet, swim platform and covered upper deck with lounge chairs and patio set. I even supply the beach towels.

Wonderful property! Check in was easy and property is exactly as pictured. Loved the screened porch area and the dock. We had some amazing sunsets at the dock too! All the beds and furniture were very comfortable as well.

By far the best VRBO or travel stay by far! Sondra is so responsive answering any questions whether about property or local area. Property is beautiful, spacious and scenic. So relaxing with view of lake and huge double decker private boat dock. We spent almost two months during holiday season there while vending at the Cullman Christkindl Market. Sondra's Happy Place definitely made our holiday season away from home special. We were there for our anniversary, Thanksgiving, birthday, Christmas and New Years while working the event. Great to be able to go after market and relax by firepit or sit on porch and view the lake while relaxing with a drink to unwind! Thank you Sondra so much !!

4th of July vacation

Our family rents a place on the lake every year and this year exceeded our expectations. The host was amazing to work with, super responsive and helpful. The house was very comfortable and clean for our large group. The boat dock was the favorite, two stories and lots of lake fun!!! Plenty of parking spaces and convenient to a Dollar General for any forgotten items. Highly recommend!

I am from this area growing up on Smith Lake. I presently live about an hour away but have local people that help with the turn over of guest, cleanings and any unforeseen emergencies.
I am an avid travel so I know what I expect out of a yearly vacation or just a quick weekend getaway.

Why they chose this property

I have multiple friends that also live on this side of the lake. Trident marina is less than 10 minutes by car from My Happy Place. They have multiple events through out the year with incredible food and alcoholic drinks and occasional bands during warmer months.

What makes this property unique

The house is very cozy and cute. There is enough room for the adults to have their own tv, bedrooms, and even their own covered screen porch while the kids have their own floor including a den with Tv, bunk room and outdoor space to play corn hole or sit by the fire pit.
