Nice tranquil home away from home

This place had a good amount of space for my family of 4 (a king bed for the adults, and a queen and twin bed in the other room). The pond in the backyard was a tranquil place to look out upon when drinking our morning coffee, and it afforded us some privacy. The kids liked the basement TV room (with Roku). Location-wise, it was convenient, just a couple minutes from the Chatham border, about 30 minutes to the National Seashore, and was a manageable trip to P-Town (47 minutes) to catch a whale watch. Kevin, the owner, was very easy to reach, and even though she stays on the top floor, we could not even tell she was there (she has a separate entrance, too). We will stay here again in the future.

We loved our stay and hope to come back. The deck overlooking the pond was a wonderful place to relax. The house was spacious, beds comfortable, and the living room was great for hanging out in the evenings. The owner was incredibly responsive to questions, and made check-in/check-out very easy. Location was great, near beaches and restaurants, and local pond access was a nice bonus.

Family getaway

House worked ok for us. On a busy street but the back is overlooking a pond. Plenty of space for 4 adults but this home is very dated. If you are looking for a modern home you may want to look elsewhere. I will say the owner was great and very accommodating so we were very pleased with that.

Nice spot with easy pond access

Perfect house for a friends trip! We loved spending time on the deck overlooking the pond. Kevin was a great host, she was very accommodating and helpful! Even though it says it in the description, I forgot, so make sure to bring sheets

Very relaxing

My goal for this trip was to relax and chill out. This house fits that bill perfectly. The pond is calm and beautiful. The house was clean and well supplied. The owner was very communicative. I didn’t like the driveway off of a busy street but not enough to not recommend this property to others

Most beautiful view

Had a wonderful time at this lovely home. Well appointed. Clean. Conveniently located. But, the best part was the beautiful view, lovely deck and backyard, and peaceful environment. We didn't even want to leave to go to the beach (but we did). Kevin was helpful and gracious.

Excellent Home

Kevin is very welcoming and accommodating. She reached out with check in information the week before our arrival, answered questions promptly, and was helpful with suggestions in the area. The house is located about 25 minutes to 2 of the National Seashore beaches, that we visited. The rail trail close by was very convenient as was the closeness of grocery stores/restaurants.

Family vacation

We had an excellent family vacation at Kevin’s house. The house was clean, cozy and well organized. There was enough room for four adults and two kids. The view of the pond with white water lilies from the deck was amazing and the house was just a short walk from Buck’s pond which was perfect for swimming. The owner was very nice, approachable and accommodating.

Beautiful and Comfy Spot

We had a lovely stay at this property. It is located 10 minutes in any direction to all that the Harwich area has to offer, and also close to Route 6. The pond out back is peaceful and gorgeous, and we really enjoyed using the deck. The rooms are spacious with lots of storage. The owner is caring and very communicative...so patient with any questions we had. Would be a great place for a larger family with older kids or parents who could stay downstairs and younger kids upstairs - plenty of room for all.

Relaxing Weekend Escape

Perfection!

Loved staying at this beautiful property. Deck overlooking pond in back of house was so relaxing. So close to everything. We didn't mind busy road in front, easy to back into driveway and get out. Quiet in the house and when sleeping, house decorated so quaintly, clean, spacious. Kevin thinks of everything, she is so kind! Took Harwich Ferry to Nantucket, excellent, loved Chatham as well, mini golf very fun, great swimming at Bucks Pond. Highly recommend!!

Good spot

Had a good time at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to a lot of restaurants and fun things to do, including a pass to Bucks pond- calm, clear water and a small sandy beach which is great if you have little kids.

Freshwater and saltwater fun

We were a quick ride down the road to Buck's Pond. The four year old loved swimming out to the middle of the pond in his life jacket and building sand castles all afternoon. We tried two of the beaches around the pond, the home came with a parking pass which made getting there with young legs and grandparent legs more convenient. We did a day at Red River Beach, another great family friendly option. The cape shower was a great asset after each sandy swimming day. A great stay!

What a view!

Kevin’s house is ideally located in the heart of Cape Cod, and next to a beautiful pond. The views on the pond are amazing, making the terrace exceptional. The house has everything needed for a family (including a pack n play, a booster seat, many toys
) and Kevin is a wonderful host that made everything easy for us. We would love to stay at Kevin’s house again.

Great stay!

Situated on a beautiful pond! Really enjoyed sitting out there and relaxing. Bedrooms were comfortable, and plenty of space. Only critique was not having an a/c in the living room when it was really hot out.
