Rural farm-stay in restored villa on working organic farm. Kid friendly!
Beautiful apartment in restored stone farmhouse. Comfortably hosts 4-5 people: 2 bedrooms with balconies, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen. Located in the green hills outside Spoleto. The farmhouse is typically Umbrian in style: stone, bricks, terracotta, with immense chestnut beams. It was rebuilt in 2008: the interior is spacious, light, clean, simple, with antique furnishings. Guests have commented that the kitchens are "gorgeous"! Our two apartments ("I Meli"and "I Fichi") are adjacent and can be connected to make a large living space for up to 10 people. Come taste our organic farm produce: fruit, veg, eggs, cheese!

Peace and quiet in the mountains of Umbria
Darcy is a kind and thoughtful host. We were greeted with freshly picked raspberries from her garden and fresh eggs from her chickens. Anything you need, Darcy is extremely accommodating. The area of the property is gorgeous and very peaceful! No one around for miles!

Middle of nowhere.
The house well. Accessibility is very poor, barely passable for 1.5 km. Upon arrival it turned out that the free WiFi could hardly be used according to the instructions. If you go back to the 1970s, a great place to stay. We left after one night. In our opinion, not suitable for the elderly. We have different ideas when it comes to celebrating holidays.

Hello Jan. We are glad that you liked the farmhouse. We're sorry that you were worried about the gravel road (in fact, 800 meters are unpaved), though glad that you did not actually have difficulty on the road either while arriving or departing. Our rural location makes a DSL/fiber internet connection impossible, but fortunately most guests find our satellite connection adequate. If you had mentioned that you were elderly while booking, we would happily have offered you the apartment with the optional seat in the shower. Most of our more mature guests do particularly enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Località il Piano, immersed in green fields, orchards and woods, and we continue to think that this is an appropriate place for all ages to stay.

Un endroit merveilleux et un accueil parfait
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la ferme de Darcy, Adolfo et leur enfants. L'appartement était parfaitement équipé, décoré avec soin et goût, et très confortable. Les produits de la ferme étaient de très grande qualité et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la beauté et le calme du site, tout en étant très proche de la très belle ville de Spoleto. La ferme est isolée dans les collines (il vaut mieux le savoir), ce qui permet un dépaysement total. Surtout, Darcy et sa famille ont été des hôtes très accueillants et chaleureux, attentifs à rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. C'était absolument parfait !
