The host was easy to communicate with. The house was spacious and fit my group comfortably, and it’s in a very cool location with no neighbors. The large driveway is nice for extra parking, and there are lots plenty of places to eat and things to do nearby!
This house was amazing! Its retro feel was fun and just a cool spot! We stayed for 1 night to attend a concert at Tinley and was a quick drive to the amphitheater. Will book this place in the future!
Its great for a dudes night, not trying to chase latest trends, just a big house with lots of room for activities and tons of quirks like the step-in bathtub in the master bathroom and the home intercom system.
We had a great stay! The house was very spacious and clean, with four comfortable bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was well-stocked, though we did notice it was missing a toaster. There was lots of seating throughout the kitchen, dining room, and living room, which made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. We especially appreciated the outdoor porch and the large hang-out area down the stairs—great spaces for spending time together. Overall, it was a comfortable, well-kept home that suited our visit perfectly.

location great
Eventually this will be a nice property but it was very outdatedThey did not provide enough towels, or wash cloths. There was no toaster (we bought one and left it there) The washer could not be used. One night we were locked out due to a door knob on the front door and my elderly brother needed medication that was in the house. We contacted the owner several times that night between 6 and 9 pm as it grew later we had no choice but to break a window in the basement. Not an ideal situation and we ended up paying for the window. The bathtub in the main bathroom is unusable for seniors due to the fact it is lowered into the floor. The owner was pleasant but the house needs a lot of work.
The photos show that the property is dated, but the property was clean, clutter free and spacious enough to comfortably house our large group. The 4 bedrooms were comfortable. The 2.5 baths were appreciated for the number of people we had. The house is out of town but a Dunkin, Walmart, and other necessities were only a few miles away. It would be nice to add a few more basic amenities like an iron (there is a steamer), salt/pepper, an umbrella over the table on the deck, a few welcoming K cups for the coffee maker, and a gallon of drinking water in the fridge. Our biggest complaint was the water smell. You can definitely smell it when showering so we didn't drink the tap water. There was a bag of store bought ice in the freezer so the owners might be aware of a water issue. Finally, when we first arrived, the smell of carpet cleaner or use of air freshener spray was overwhelming, to the point of headache. It dissipated within a day but not a good welcome. We were in the area for a family event, and the host allowed us to have extra guests on one of our days, so that was very appreciated. It suited our needs and gave everyone retreat space. I believe it is a fairly new listing so a little time and energy invested in this property, and it will be fantastic place to enjoy time with friends and family.
