Camp Reminiscing is located n Adirondack foothills on Brantingham Lake (45 mins N of Rome NY, 10 mins south of Lowville NY). Ideal for relaxing and/or entertaining. Great room, fireplace, porch & 6 bedrooms. 150' of waterfront, two docks, boat house, numerous water toys, spacious fire pit and 8 bicycles. Minutes from year round trails, skiing and golf. Enjoy NY's snowmobiling mecca in the winter. Limited availability in July & August. Our base rates include 6 guests. Extra fees apply above 6.

Beautiful spot on Brantingham lake. He decks at the water are spacious and access to the water is great.The screened in porch at back of house was a nice place to enjoy the view of the lake.Location is central to everything in the area. Overall great place.

The property was exactly as advertised and amazing. We had a great time and the lake was awesome. We accidentally damaged some of the shower but had trip insurance and the owner was very nice and understanding about the whole situation. Would highly recommend this place

Great Lake House on Trail

We stayed here for a weekend with 6 people and it was perfect. We rode side by sides on Tug Hill and it was easy to get to. Very close to bars and restaurants in Brantingham. The house was very clean, cozy, and spacious! It would be perfect in summer as well. Great swimming area, dock, and recreation area in the boat house. We hope to be back soon!

Another wonderful stay

This was our 4th stay at Camp Reminiscing and it did not disappoint. Our family always looks forward to our time at the lake. Lots of memories made! The enhancement to the lakefront and boathouse were beautiful!

Pre-Christmas getaway

This was our 2nd stay at Camp Reminiscing. The house is very cozy, comfortable & spacious. The location is very peaceful here this time of year. The view of the sunset on the frozen lake was just breathtaking. So many laughs around the foreplace and the large kitche. Table! Cant wait to come back again.

The property is in a great location, and has tons of potential .The lake is beautiful, the sitting areas are nice. The Lake house is ok overall ,paperwork that is located in the house is not up to date and the floors were dirty there's cobwebs, oven was not clean ,hole in the closet wall ,pine needles were on top of the mattress cover, none of the wood in the "wood shed burned" we ended up purchasing our own. Overall it was ok. I probably won't be returning in the future.

Hasn't had a deep clean since 1985

Overall I did not like this rental.I knew it would be older from the pics, but it did not meet my expectations. There was mouse droppings on multiple beds, and in the silverware drawers. There was the last renters trash in the upstairs bathroom, and their dishes were still in the dishwasher. I even found a dead mouse in the basement window sill. It rained for both days, and we planned on watching Monday night football... but there was no comedy central, no ESPN... sigh! And the couch was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever watched a movie on in my life. I would have had that on the curb years ago. I am giving it two stars only because the property was on a lake with a kayaks and rowboat to borrow. That made it enjoyable for my husband. I guess when it said "camp" they were not joking. The owners seemed pleasant and responded very promptly to emails and reservations.

Obviously, this review was very troubling and disappointing. Rest assured that all points have been addressed thoroughly with our cleaning service, who was a no show prior to Billie Jeans arrival. We offer basic cable service and internet TV service in an attempt to cater to the wide range of guest expectations for entertainment and affordability. We will continue to monitor guest feedback and adjust accordingly.

Relaxing Getaway

The place was so picturesque!! Beautiful view of the lake!! Loved the cabin feel of this beautiful lakeside home!!! We enjoyed a fire by the lake at night and breakfast and coffee on the dock in the morning!! Great neighborhood and easy access for our boat!
