Great place, just a couple of bumps

The house is spacious, clean, comfy, well appointed and fun for a family. I think perhaps it’s a fairly new rental so some things are being worked out. Initial communications with host were great, but when check in time was approaching. we didn’t get a code to check in and host was unreachable. This was quite stressful since we were coming from several locations and it was cold! Had to make alt. game plan. Once finally in, we figured out how to turn on the water, but there was a leak in the ceiling. I think with a few more months this will be a great rental situation. It just presented a few hard issues for our group. I doubt the next group will have these issues.

Being minutes from Brookfield Zoo was a huge draw for us. It's one of the best zoos in the country and practically in the backyard — something our own family loves and something we knew guests with kids would absolutely appreciate.

What we enjoy most is how everything comes together here. Great restaurants, local shops, parks, and the Metra just one block away — it offers the perfect balance of quiet suburban comfort with quick, easy access to downtown Chicago. You can spend the morning at the zoo, grab lunch on the block, and be sitting on the Chicago Riverwalk by mid-afternoon.

It's a place where you can truly relax, explore at your own pace, and feel right at home. That's exactly the experience we wanted to create for our guests — and Brookfield delivers it naturally.
