GORGEOUS POOL!! CLOSE TO BEACH/BOARDWALK! 2 PRIVATE DECKS! DOGS OK!

This should be a "5 STAR" review! The home was nice and clean. There were no problems during the stay, OR there were no problems that were not addressed promptly. And this guest would return to it. For those of you reading this review, this IS "5 STARS" according to VRBO standards. (A "4 star" review would be saved for a rental where there were problems that were not addressed or could not be addressed.) The condo is TWO flights up on the 2nd/top floor of the building. They are split flights - 5/6 steps up to a landing, and then 5/6 more steps to the next landing. The flights are split in two parts each, which is actually easier to work with than one single long climb up.

This agent was not terrible. This agent was threatened with legal action! This property is advertised correctly with a queen bed in the master bedroom. I can't change a queen bed to a king, so I offered to this guest (who is an attorney) that he could leave with a full refund of all unused nights if he could not be comfortable here. Apparently, he was comfortable enough because he decided to stay for the full week despite the bedding set up. But I was threatened with legal action, which requires that I do not respond further and that I pass this to the office manager and/or broker to respond. For anyone reading this, know that we will do everything in our power to help you if your rental is not suitable for you, including offering a relocation or a full refund of any unused nights. If you are not happy, we do not want to keep you. Customer satisfaction is priorty #1!

This difficult guest (mother and teenaged son) had many unsubstantiated complaints. Cleaning people were dispatched to her two separate times within the first day. A handy man was dispatched. The rental office manager visited to verify the situation. It was now obvious that she would not be happy here, so we offered that she could move to one of several other open rentals. She declined to move. We offered that she could leave with a full refund after the first night, and still SHE INSISTED ON STAYING HERE IN THIS UNIT! When she continued to complain the next morning again, we contacted VRBO on that second day to cancel her reservation. We removed her from the property and refunded the rest of the unused nights in the reservation. She disputed the remaining two night charge with her credit card company, but lost the dispute. This is her retaliatory review.
