Better than a resort….

So clean, decor was just fabulous, well stocked, We truly loved our stay, Sharon and Nathan were so pleasant and helpful…our new island family🤗 Already checking our calendar for another visit. Great location, easy access to water, grounds were simply beautiful…and the host was just the best😊

Incredible Stay!

Sharon’s place was one of the best equipped places we have ever stayed at! From the beach chairs and coolers, to the fully stocked kitchen supplies, it was incredible! She also had a copy of the Beach Book and Snorkel Book, along with multiple maps and recommendations for the island.The place was immaculately clean and sits on arguably the nicest beach on the island! 10/10 and will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you for a great stay Sharon!

This place is perfect on all fronts. Beautiful piece of property right on the water, pristine Beach, and very very clean. Host is very hospitable. Will absolutely be back.

Paradise

Skip and Sharon are the most hospitable hosts. The property is pristine. Haven’t stayed at a cleaner location. Heaven on earth - before Disney moves in.

Sunset Beach

Thanks Sharon. Small and neat, thoughtful and clean. Only improvement could be a generator and a gas stove to deal with these long power cuts. Great beach and water activities.

A quiet beach retreat

Our four days in the Bonefish studio were a welcome respite from a midwest US winter. Sharon arranged our car rental, and met us on arrival for a property tour. A canoe and kayaks, along with water toys, were available; we enjoyed our time paddling, wading, swimming, and relaxing. The location is central on the island making it easy to reach any destination and explore. We agreed that we would be happy to return again!

Loved Barefish Beach House and Eleuthera

Loved our stay in the Bonefish unit of the BBH. It was very clean, had everything we could have needed and more, the location was perfect, and it was peaceful and quiet. Literally just steps from the beach out in front and centrally located on the island. The yard/surrounding grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The maps/book were very helpful. Skip and Sharon were the perfect hosts-friendly and available for questions but not intrusive. Do not hesitate to stay here-I hated to have to leave. Thanks Skip and Sharon.

We love the Barefoot Beach House

We had an excellent time at The Barefoot Beach House. Skip and Sharon are excellent hosts and right on property to see to any questions or needs to arise (they are great about ensuring your privacy). The house is adorable and well supplied. The bed was actually comfortable, as were the pillows. The location of the home is absolutely fabulous. It sits right on a beautiful beach. Just steps from your door, there is sand and water. The home is well located in South Palmetto Point. There are quite a few markets and restaurants within a short driving distance, and a couple restaurants that are an easy walk (Mate and Jenny’s and The 3 J’s jerk chicken). The house is located close to lots of beaches should you want to explore. Be sure and visit Ten Bay Beach right down the road or Cocodimama just past the GHB airport. Governor’s Harbor is a pretty quick drive north. We had a wonderful time and we will be back.

Beautiful island. Quiet with great beaches and good food

The process of renting was easy. Good response from owners when we had questions. You can’t control the weather and it was very windy the first four days. When the wind died down, Skip was gracious and invited us to go out on his boat. A very kind gesture that we really appreciated. He also cracked my stone crab for me. Beaches are stunning.

Glorious

We enjoyed our time at Skip and Sharon’s so much ~ we had our coffee overlooking the beautiful waters! They have an attention to detail which made our stay even better than we could have imagined. Our suite was immaculate and so comfortable. They even had a cooler for us to use when we ventured out to enjoy the island! Skip even took us up to the local pizza joint for pick up! You two are delightful and we’re thankful we had time to spend with you!

Highly Recommend!!

Skip & Sharon were fantastic hosts, & the property was in immaculate condition. Perfectly situated in the center of the island, making north or south travel easier. They provided us with a nice welcome packet in our car upon arrival with maps, etc (they also arranged the car for us). Also discovered a binder at the house with very detailed information on beaches, shopping, dining, etc (they definitely attend to every last detail). Counting the days until we can stay at the Barefoot Beach House once again!

Perfect Place to Get Away

We stayed for 3 nights, but wished we were able to stay longer. The Bonefish Bungalow was everything we could hope for in a vacation rental unit. Sharon and Skip had the placed stocked with everything we could possibly need (towels, utensils, tuperware, cooler, toiletries, appliances, spot light for looking at night time beach critters, etc.). The place was spotless and on such a beautiful peace of property. One of the highlights was taking the sea kayaks out to the nearby cays to explore and snorkel. Would definitely recommend this vacation rental and the Island of Eleuthera.
