Charming cozy cottage a sidewalk's stroll to dine out.
Located in the charming west-side historic district of the mountain town of Hendersonville, NC, Hendersonville Cottage is peaceful, surprisingly private and perfectly located. Respectfully restored, the cottage is the ideal of a charming historic mountain home. The original stone fireplace hardwood floors and wavy glass windows create a feeling of a by gone era. Yet all the conveniences of the present ensure a pleasurable and pampered respite. Enjoy a sidewalk stroll down idyllic 4th Avenue to town to shop and dine at the many wonderful restaurants. I will leave a list for you with our favorite restaurants and even a few tips on what to order.
The master bedroom's king bed with all high thread count cotton sheets, a super soft blanket, puffy comforter and goose down feather bed is private and peaceful. The master bath features a shower/tub in natural stone.
The charming kitchen, bright and clean, is fully equipped with cookware and everything needed to prepare meals. Yes, that includes coffee, a coffee maker and an expresso maker.
The dining room is comfortable gathering place for meals, games and projects.
The living room features a beautiful fireplace, original to the home, built from local granite and now features gas logs. The sofa is deep and very very long, a perfect place for 2 to nap by the fire. There is also a 32' flat screen with satellite service and netflix.

About Ellie Graham
Hi I'm Ellie Navarro. I am a professional portrait photographer, a wife to a man who loves playing in these mountains as much as I do and a mother of five amazing people. The cottage is our beloved home in the mountains and we are happy to share it with you. We spend lots of time at the cottage so it is well stocked with everything you could possibly need ( translation: what's ours is yours, including any booze). We have two dogs so we welcome yours too. We have allergies so we think you will find the cottage, well, pretty spotless. We are nearby in Greenville, SC ( about 45 minutes from the cottage) if you need anything at all but far enough away that you can make yourself at home. We do hope you will feel like the cottage is your magical home away from home.
Ellie Graham purchased this House in 2007
Why Ellie Graham chose West Side Historic District
Western North Carolina is home to many summer camps. I grew up in Georgia and was blessed to have five glorious years of summer camp as a child at nearby Camp Greystone. I dreamed that I would someday return to the mountains of NC to live and in 1996, that dream became reality. We split our time between Hendersonville and Greenville, SC.We love Hendersonville and think you will too!

Absolutely wonderful...one of our favorite places we have ever stayed!!
This was by far one of our favorite rentals we have ever stayed in! The cottage was so cozy, charming, clean, wonderfully decorated, centrally located...the list could go on!!! On top of that, the owner was very responsive and thoughtful in leaving notes and giving us recommendations in the area. I really felt she went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay! Thanks Ellie!
Real world convenience, historic charm
This home is lovingly cared for and immaculately decorated. It was quiet and so comfortable - and our two dogs got to go, also, as the front yard is fenced! The owner left wine and chocolate out for our anniversary. We can’t wait to come back in the Spring to see everything in bloom.
Thank you, Lindsey. It was a delight having you here and we look forward to your return!
A cozy cottage for a lazy weekend.
The owner has a great eye for decorating, making an older cottage feel just right. We were looking to decompress and got what we wanted...leaving just for sustenance. A 100+ inch couch with deep cushions was perfect for snuggling. The house had everything you need and nothing you don’t.
One caveat...the house next door is undergoing a renovation and work started early Saturday morning. This will be short lived, but if it will bother you, make sure to inquire before reserving.
Cozy little gem in Hendersonville! Nice quiet neighborhood and beautifully appointed home.
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed your stay Kelly! Please come visit again. Ellie
Charming, vintage cottage close to downtown Hendersonville
The cottage is full of charm with old farmhouse style windows, wooden floors, and creative decor in a vintage setting. The king size bed was very comfortable and the garden was beautiful. Adding to the charm were the beautiful photographs throughout the cottage. Hendersonville is a great small town!
Quaint, cute and cuddly cottage
The cottage is adorable. It's within an easy walk to Hendersonville's Main Street. Ellie had it all decked out with a comfy couch, magazines, a table with candles and twinkly lights on the front porch. It was so inviting to drive up to. She also left us a nice bottle of wine and some yummy goodies to go with it. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with lots of pillows. The bathroom had big fluffy white towels. We enjoyed the personal notes she'd left around too. Ellie was quickly responsive with any questions we had (where to eat, etc.). The whole area is charming with abundant flowers in everyones' yards (including Ellie's).
Hendersonville Cottage's location is excellent, offering both peacefulness and convenience. Don't miss Jump Off Rock at sunset, Main Street dining, Laurel Park and the Flat Rock Playhouse!
