A step below an old Motel 6. Actually looked like a place a bunch of college boys would rent for the school year. We were only there 1 night so we tolerated it. Would not be acceptable for more than that. Can’t say how clean it is as everything is so old that it felt dirty. The neighborhood is not the best. Would not stay here again.

Cozy place as a one night stay after we landed late, before heading to our next location. And we are a family of 5, so hotels are tough. Location felt a bit sketchy and Google reviews stated not to go running alone in the morning (I'm a female runner). Parts of the house were old and needed some repair. But their was a bed for each of us.

The property is located in a questionable area of Anchorage. The steps leading up to the property are a hazard. There is junk lying in the front yard. The property is sparsely furnished, the dryer did not work, and the bottoms of our feet were filthy from only walking around for a short period of time. There has been very little maintenance done on the property with a huge hole in the bathroom door, cupboards in the kitchen not functional and a lot of broken things. The listing does not convey what you get. There is no excuse for a floor not being mopped. I would expect to pay about 50 a night for this, not the price he charges

This place was great. Lots of room, lots of hot water, nice kitchen, quiet area, close to everything I needed. Will definitely be staying there again when I need to be in Anchorage for work.

The property was in a little bit of a rough neighborhood, where we felt nervous to stay with our children. The house itself smelled extremely bad of cigarette smoke. It made so both the linens on the beds and towels smelled of smoke, making it hard to sleep or shower. Some of the house was untidy, such as the kitchen table and the house was not vacuumed.

Great location as we were attending a swim meet at Bartlett pool. Some guests wrote that they felt uncomfortable in the neighborhood. We did not and neighbors were friendly!We would have appreciated a toaster and a bit of work on the quality of utensils and pots, pans, and skillets would make this place perfect.We will stay again.

The host was quick to respond to questions and very easy to talk to. It is a pet friendly listing with a fenced in yard. The only con would be if you are avoiding steps/stairs. There are several stepping up onto property that are serviceable with large chips in concrete and uneven walking surface. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would most likely rebook for future needs.
