John, thanks for your review and we are glad you enjoyed the Hook Lane property! This is a fantastic home with all the extras, game room, pool table, foosball table, etc. It looks like the owner may have forgotten to lock up some of their personal items just so that you know we do not provide life jackets with any of our properties. Shawn, thanks for your review! I am not sure how the housekeeper and our inspector overlooked most of the issues that you mentioned. When you come back in the future please call us for anything that housekeeping may have overlooked and we will send them back out to take care of any cleaning issues. And if you have any maintenance issues we will be glad to address those as well. We spoke on the phone and you said that you called our office and I show that we did send maintenance to work on the grill. And we would have been glad to bring a new coffee maker (we keep a large number in stock at our office) but I am not sure that we knew about that issue. Eliza, thanks for your five star review and comments. We will pass some of these along to the owner. There are two ovens at the home (the electric oven was working and the gas oven was not working as we were waiting on parts and has since been repaired), the stove top was working as well. We are not sure why the false cabinet door fell off as it doesn't open and cannot be reached unless someone literally stands on the counter. Possibly a previous guest was messing with it. Concerning the hot pads and dish towels, we never received any communication that they were missing and would have gladly delivered some to you. And we are not sure about your comment on the BBQ? This home features a gas grill and a Blackstone for your outdoor grilling needs. Also we didn't receive a call about any debris on the path by the dock or about the creaminess of the dock. We would have been glad to remedy the situation. While you did contact us during your stay, most of these items were never mentioned. We are in the office seven days a week during the summer and respond to any questions or issues that you may have. We also have around 20 employees during the summer and can assist with any of your needs. Again, we are just a phone call away. We hope that you enjoyed the sand beach and five arcade games, as well as the foosball and pool tables. We also love the huge deck and cove environment, plus you are only about 12 minutes from town where there are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants, and about 20 minutes from one of the most beautiful state parks (Ha Ha Tonka) in all of Missouri.
