Charming 1-bedroom suite with WiFi and AC in Bon Air

You arrived and departed without contacting me regarding any problems or concerns with the accommodations. Had I been made aware that something was not meeting your expectations, I would have welcomed the opportunity to address it promptly. I take guest comfort and the condition of my property seriously, which is why communication is so important. While I respect every guest’s right to share their experience, it is difficult for a host to correct an issue they are unaware of. Thank you for your feedback. I take the cleanliness, comfort, and upkeep of my property very seriously, and I feel it is important to provide additional context for future guests reading this review. The suite is professionally cleaned and inspected between guests, and I have consistently received positive feedback regarding its cleanliness and condition. There were also concerns from the beginning of this reservation because the booking was made using information and a name that did not accurately match the guest who arrived. Accurate guest information is important for safety, communication, and compliance with house rules. During this stay, the guest experienced an electrical breaker trip while using multiple appliances simultaneously. I responded promptly and entered the suite only as necessary to restore power and address the issue. The guest also reported difficulty with the electronic entry lock, and assistance was provided. At no time was entry made unnecessarily or without a legitimate property-related reason. Unfortunately, there were also significant issues with the condition in which the suite was maintained during this reservation. The guest brought two cats into the property. Within a very short stay, the cream carpeting was soiled, trash and used tissues were left throughout the space, and a litter box containing cat waste was left behind. There was also evidence of smoking inside the property, which is specifically prohibited by our house rules, and a strong foul odor remained after departure that required additional cleaning and remediation. The reservation was made for two weeks; however, the guest made the personal decision to leave after approximately three days. Because the early departure was voluntary and not a cancellation initiated by the host, the reservation remained subject to the agreed-upon cancellation and refund policy. I understand that every property will not be the right fit for every guest, and I respect a guest’s decision to leave if they are not comfortable. However, future guests also deserve the full context surrounding this stay. I remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, well-maintained space, enforcing clearly stated house rules, and responding promptly whenever a guest raises a legitimate concern.
