Breathtaking views year round. Eight acres of hiking on the property. High Peaks less than an hour away. Great place to relax. Fantastic night skies.

Well appointed kitchen. Master bedroom has queen sized bed which a has spectacular view of the lake and an attached bathroom. Cozy second bedroom on the first floor with queen sized bed. Large open loft area with separate living area and queen sized bed and very special view of Lake Champlain.

There are several outdoor security cameras on the property in the following locations:

Communication with Jan was excellent both before and during our stay. The house was wonderful, just as described, with the best views over Lake Champlain! The location was private on several acres of trees but still just a few miles from the quaint towns of Port Henry and Westport where one could purchase groceries or deli foods, Chinese etc or there were larger grocery stores in nearby towns. The house itself was extremely comfortable with every amenity we needed during our week long stay. Jan had provided everything one might need on holiday away from home right down to things like needle and thread for repairs, notepads and pens for lists etc, and scotch tape!Beds were super comfy, lots of towels and a washer and dryer that worked properly! Yay!!We were able to keep our car in the garage, A luxury for vacationers!So thank you Jan for providing us with a great home away from home for our vacation! We hope to return one day soon!!

A spacious and very comfortable house with a spectacular view of the lake from the living room, dining room and deck. Watching the sunrise over the Green Mountains of Vermont with a reflection on the lake was only equaled by the moonlight shining on the lake. The furniture and the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, baking dishes and many many utensils. While we explored the area a bit, we also spent many hours alternating between reading our books and simply gazing at the lake. This house and its views are made for utter relaxation.

Beautiful views from the deck on the back of the house! It is in a very quiet area as well, so a perfect house to get away and relax. The inside is also well maintained, clean, and spacious.

My wife and I were immediately pleased as soon as we opened the door. It was refreshing to see how clean the house was. The decor around the house made it feel inviting and comfortable, very nice. We were also pleasantly surprised by the way the house was stocked, most rentals are bare minimum but this place had it all. I don’t have any negative feedback, and I couldn’t imagine what anyone could find wrong here.
