Why Sterling Resorts chose Seagrove Beach

As the name implies, Seagrove is a village beneath a canopy of live oaks and magnolias sitting atop a high line of dunes. This early Florida neighborhood inspired its more famous neighbor, Seaside, and the two communities are linked by a few common backstreets. Inside of this nature inspired historic community you can find NatureWalk, a hidden gem that is surrounded by nature on all sides. It is 155 acres surrounded by Point Washington State Forest and is off Scenic Highway 30A. Just up the road from Seagrove are art galleries and antique stores. Eastern and Deer Lakes make wonderful spots for quiet reflection, or put in a canoe or kayak for a day of exploration around the Seagrove area. Back in the 1940s and 1950s, families came to Seagrove Beach to rent modest one-story cottages with paddle fans instead of air conditioning and wide screened porches (perfect for sleeping). This was our fifth year at 29 Chelsea Loop and might be our last. 360 Blue always had it in tip top shape but this year it is with a different realtor. The house had mildew in the showers, sand on the floor, torn bedskirts, and a peeling couch and chairs that need to be put at the street. The AC and TV s worked great but the dryer took forever and the blender didn't work. It's ashame this beautiful home is not being treated well!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. I do apologize about these issues during your stay. We have taken measures to get new housekeepers and inspectors to make sure every house is in tip top shape. The condition of the house is of course not up to Sterling Standard at all. We have had change in management to make sure issues like this do not occur anymore. I do hope you will consider coming back to 29 Chelsea Loop and having a wonderful vacation with us.

Very close to the beach.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for six adults and two small children. The house has convient access to the beach. Parking is a problem. There is only space for two cars, no on street parking available. We had three cars the entire stay and for a couple of days we had four cars, so parking was an issue. The house has three stories and that became an issue for my wife and me. Not as young as we used to be and the stairs created some knee and joint troubles. Our adult children and grandchildren had no problems. Adequate kitchen, some of the furniture is getting a little worn. Overall, a decent rental, but the major issues were parking and a lot of stairs.

Positives: beach access, AC worked great, ice machine, decor, great master suite

Negatives: no floor rugs (could not keep sand from being tracked in in spite of efforts to do so), dryer took forever (3-4cycles for each load), minimal bedroom storage (few closets), no unbreakable dishes/glassware, parking (barely room for 2 vehicles, one behind the other. Don't drive a full-size pickup!), beach area gets pretty crowded

We had a wonderful experience. The house was very clean. My only issue was the dryer. It tool 4 hours to dry 6 towels. I think it needs to be serviced. I emailed Sterling and got no response. That's disappointing since the app said if you need anything just request it. I adjusted and only dried 4 towels at a time. My laundry time doubled with 10 people in the house. One more thing... when guest check out the outside trash should be taken my the cleaning crew. I had to take out a bunch of trash that's wasn't mine and had hardly any room for our trash. Unfortunately, someone probably has to deal with my trash now.

Not the best experience. Great location, however we had issues with fans, electricity, plumbing, etc. and the house was dirty. We had to vacuum upon arrival. Maintenance group was very prompt but couldn't fix all issues. Property manager would not contact us after multiple attempts.

Beautiful house, not so clean

The house is magnificent, right next to one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. It would have been perfect if they'd pay more attention to cleanliness. The dishes and kitchen utensils were dirty as well as some areas of the house had not been properly cleaned. I did not feel comfortable in the house until we cleaned and disinfected the kitchen. Dining room table and kitchen counter were sticky, wooden floors dirty.
