Family Gathering
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had family staying in other cabins in the resort and we all enjoyed walking in the mornings and evenings. The deers made us feel right at home. The love of nature at its puriest. Will definetly stay again.
This property was perfect for our stay while in the area for a family wedding. The loft with gaming tables sealed the deal for 3 boys, and the downstairs space was private enough that grandparents could escape the fun. Coffee on the porch in the early morning was very peaceful. I forgot to complete this review initially, and I realized it when I searched wanting to this property.
My husband and I needed a place to stay with our children when we came down for a wedding. This cabin was clean, comfortable, and with all the games, very fun! I personally enjoyed the mornings on the screened in deck with a cup of coffee. We did not have time to utilize the amenities located nearby, but both passes were there if we had wanted them. I was thankful that there were reasonable checkout "chores" (take out the trash, start the dishwasher, start a load of towels) because I've stayed at places that ask much more than that. We would recommend this cabin.
Older home but extremely clean on the inside. From the arrival the refrigerator was making a loud roaring noise, so we called the property manager and she was out of town and we never heard another word from her. We then called the owner and he was dealing with a family emergency, so needless to say we dealt with a roaring refrigerator for 5 days and nights. We were scared it was going to go out so we didn't put any food in it, si all meals were eaten out. Other than that the house was nice, but it could use a bigger tv in the master bedroom because old eyes don't see a 16" screen well from across the room. Our grandson did love the games and the air hockey!

From the owner: "Keith, thank you for your valuable feedback. Glad to hear our home was clean and welcoming! Our cleaner hadn't noticed any issues with the fridge before your arrival, but I'm sorry about the inconvenience of the loud fridge. Though still fully functional and cooling appropriately, we did replace it with a new fridge before the next guest's arrival. It's hard to plan for a major appliance issue for sure! Also, we intentionally chose a small TV in the bedroom since there is a 55" larger smart TV in the adjacent living room. Glad your grandson enjoyed the full-size air hockey table and other games! The foosball table, mini table tennis, and Sega console at our cabin are fun for all ages! Thanks again for your feedback and insight!"
It was a wonderful experience! Home was clean and exactly as shown online. Check in was a breeze. Beautiful property and not too far from Atlanta to catch a game!
Comefortable cabin. Nice amminities and beautiful setting. Owners are very nice

Porches we're nasty and full of spider webs. The signs in the area are very hard to read. The roads are in rough shape. They charge a heavy cleaning fee but the place is not clean. Porch door broke. The bottom porch roof is falling.

From the owners: "We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay and wanted to address the items you mentioned.
-The pollen accumulates very quickly this time of the year. We took care of it before your arrival and also offered to come clean the porches and decks during your stay, but we did not hear back from you.
-GPS will correctly bring you to our property, and we are sorry you found it difficult to get here. The roads can be curved and hilly at times, as we are in a river and mountain resort.
-The owners were personally at the property before you arrived to make sure the cleaning team did an excellent job and to make sure everything was ready for you. We would have been happy to take care of anything that was out of place, however, we take the cleanliness of our property very seriously.
-The porch door is a little warped from being left open, but it works properly. Our contractor will be adding additional supports to straighten it.
- The bottom porch roof is brand new. It is angled downward to allow the upper deck rainwater to run off.
Thank you for your stay."
We had a very nice stay at this cabin, plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and 3 kids. We love this resort, we had stayed here before and decided to go back because of its security, nice cabins, tranquil environment and especially the abundance of deer. The bathroom rugs could use some washing and the automated garbage lid was not working but we fixed it. The basket of goodies for making s’mores and hot chocolate was a very nice touch. Overall a great stay, I highly recommend this cabin!

Nice and Accommodating but...
Cabin was very roomy and accommodating for the 6 adults. However, the grill was rusted out and we had to go to Walmart and buy and inexpensive grill to grill our steaks on. Then the only dinner plates were plastic, not real good for a steak dinner. Kayak in basement had a sign on it "Private Property do not use" which I thought was not necessary. Lock it in an owner's closet if you don't want it used. I think amenties such as dishes, and there was NO hairdryer at all, need to be upgraded and available then it would really be a good bit nicer. Size and décor was fine. it's just the little things that would make it better.

Overall the property was very accommodating for 6 adults. We were unable to use the grill on the deck because it was rusted so we purchased an inexpensive one to cook our steaks on. The only dinner plates were plastic which were not real good for a steak meal. There was no hairdryer in the whole house. I believe the owner was a little confused on the wi-fi with regard to "network" and "password". We figured it out though. I think amenities (such as hairdryer, dinner plates) need to be dealt with and the place would really be more desirable. (Personally, I think the sign on the kayak was uncalled for. Really?) Location was fine, loved the back deck and all the deer we saw.

Will definitely return
What a beautiful place! One of the reasons we rented was to get away from the hustle of the city.
The surroundings are beautiful with the deer and other animals. The cabin was very clean and tidy.
Loved the downstairs beautiful. We built a fire in the fire pit and sat just listening to the quiet.
Everything is there beds, linens, cooking utensils etc. Just bring food and clothing.
WILL SURELY RETURN !

Five Star Cabin !
Beautiful cabin that resides in a huge resort with plenty of fun for a couple or family. This cabin is very spacious with lots of room for a big family with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could dream of ! Literally , just bring food and clothes ! That’s it ! There’s even soap and shampoo ! Big back porch and front porch , sitting and watching the deer in the morning was a favorite of mine. I will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the pools and river !

Mislead with rental "details"
Poor communication with all parties involved. We ended up not bringing our pet, but in the terms "pets to be leashed and kept off furniture." You are responsible for taking all of your trash to the recycle center 5 miles away. The Pool was a 30 minute drive. Look for the words NON REFUNDABLE in the terms and read every detail. Full details not disclosed until full payment received. Make sure your rental is actually located near your destination, ours was over a 90 min drive to Stone Mountain. At the entrance Gate the wait can be up to 10 minutes waiting for someone to answer. Very little kitchen space, basically a circle around the table and no counter top space. Third bedroom is in the basement, which is under a little construction. The Resort itself is very hilly with very steep roads and driveways. I kept my review to factual details, anyone who rents can form their own opinion.

Kim, we welcome and appreciate constructive feedback, however, we and the owners do not believe this feedback is warranted. We have shared your feedback with the owners who would like to clarify aspects of their property for future guests. First, our team here at Evolve and the property owners were in communication with you before and during your visit. This home is one of the few that graciously accept pets, and it is standard among vacation rentals who allow pets to have them leashed and kept off furniture as this greatly helps to preserve furniture for future guests. The leash law is required for all cabin owners in this resort. We inform guests in an email sent 15 days prior to arrival of simple check-out instructions to do prior to check-out. It's necessary for guests to take their trash to the recycle center since there is no trash pick up at the cabin. However, since it was closed for the Christmas holiday, the owners arranged for someone to dispose of the trash for you. We can confirm that the pool is not a 30 minute drive. There are three pools in this resort, and in winter months when you stayed, only one is heated and open which is located 10 minutes away at the rec center. Prior to securing a booking, we note all the terms and conditions so guests can read them to ensure the property they choose is the right fit for them. Typically the admittance to the security gate is 1-3 minutes and this has never been an issue for previous guests or cleaning staff who have used it to enter. The kitchen is an L shape with plenty of counter space, as clearly depicted on the listing's photos. There is no construction in or around the cabin. Lastly, this cabin is located in the north Georgia mountains and all roads to the cabin are paved, well marked, and flat. The owners prioritize the guest experience and we have every confidence this home will continue to host satisfied guests. Best, the Evolve Team

Cozy Cabin!
So cute and cozy! We loved all the deer we got to see! The cabin was great for our situation. The downstairs suite was perfect for my in laws. Totally private! It was pretty clean, but it could use a good dusting. The guard gate is awkward and the fact that you have to drive your trash to a collection place are reasons why it’s not a 5 star review. None of this would stop us from renting this cabin again!
