Not taken care of

My overall impression of the house is that it would have been a great vacation but the house was not taken care of. It had not been properly cleaned, I had to go and buy washcloths as there were only 8. I also had to buy DVDs for the media room only to find that they would not play either. Furniture was broken, doors to the bedrooms were damaged. as well as blinds. Pool was not clean, although the vendor came out 2 days later and cleaned it. Overall I was embarrassed to have my mother and mother in law and sister in law and her family along with my daughter from Texas here for vacation with the condition the home was in. Spindles from the banister were missing which was a safety issue for my 1 year old niece. I have pictures as well which I will be posting soon. I asked to speak with the manager and never got a response.

Be careful before you book.

So nobody informed me you have to pay ahead of time for the pool to be heated. Also only 2 of the 6 games in the Arcade worked. 2 t.v.s didn't work. Wifi didn't work. When it does it only works in the office area rest of the house is a dead zone. Also the fridge is missing shelfs. Also can be updated over all. Alot of stuff is way outdated. Very disappointed for the money I spent for a whole week

Where do I start.......

The pictures look great but we had a lot of issues. Upon arrival the door lock did not work. We sat outside for about an hour until the manager arrived with a key. He had to leave it with us because the electronic lock did not work. Once inside we found the house ok but just a lot of wear and tear. One cabinet door was falling off the hinges and the refrigerator door would not stay closed unless you pushed it hard. Our plan was to grill that night. The outdoor cooking area was filthy, the grill literally rotted apart and unusable. I called the manager and he was aware of the grill situation and had a loaner delivered the next day. We had to go out to eat. The game room looked pretty nice in the photos....1 game out of 7 worked and we were able to get one other working but since we really didn't need the games it was no big deal (if kids were there it would have been disappointing). The movie room looks good, but only 4 of the 10 recliners actually worked. We flipped coins to see who could get a good chair. The guests before us must have had a party because there was glitter all around the house. While all of this was just a disappointment, the worst was one of the beds VERY LIKELY not having the linens changed. Fortunately there were more bedrooms than people so we left it and used a different room. And last, but not least, one downstairs bathroom had small flies constantly. This house has potential but needs some work and a deep cleaning.

The house floor plan was awesome. We absolutely loved the pool and the pool area. The game room was fun. We liked the gated community and felt safe. The house is just not clean and a little run down. The carpet is really worn and just didn't feel clean. The banister was loose and could be a safety hazard. If the owners would put a little money into cleaning and updating the carpet this would be a 5 star place.

Good stay

We traveled with 8 adult couples. Loved the number of bathrooms! We cooked at the home and missed some of the simple kitchen supplies. Pot holders, dish towels etc... but made due. The pool was amazing and we used the grills often. Will stay at this property again.

Family Reunion

On the positive side we loved the layout of the house for our 4 generation reunion, we were also happy with the location close to many restaurants and shopping. On the down side when we got there we found out the projector bulb was burnt out (took 4 days to replace)....the air-conditioning was not working in part of the house (twice we had to have someone come out and work on it)...the video games had no instructions so many we were unable to figure out and a couple did not work ( someone came out to work on those while we were there also)...we went out and purchased an Ethernet cable in order to get the virtual reality to work because it was missing...but...I want to say that my calls were always answered with empathy and all repair personnel we encountered were extremely professional and kind...even though there were issues I would have rather not had to deal with customer relations did their best to try to make things right and I do appreciate their professionalism...

It was okay

We were a little disappointed compared to the price we paid for the stay. The stove was broke down, racks we're uneven, couldn't put two items in stove, it burned anything that was on the bottom rack. We saw a rat on the second night. Some of the games didn't work, there was a partial screen that was out on the back enclosure. We are waiting for someone to contact us regarding some type of compensation.
