Very clean home, beautifully updated and cozy
We had a girls getaway, the home was stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment, towels, and linens. We had a little trouble with the heat at first but the owner Cory responded within minutes and was able to manipulate the heat through an app on his phone.
Short drive to Downtown North Conway, Beautiful pond views. I would stay here any time of the year. Us ladies enjoyed our mom getaway very much, we played games on the large kitchen table, had morning coffee on the back deck over looking the water. Just what we were looking for! Thank you Cory!!!
Property was fantastic! Close enough to town, yet feels so remote. Beautiful surroundings and the house was clean. Perfect getaway!
Amazing place with perfect scenic view.
I spent the most beautiful time with my family over the weekend. House was fully equipped with essentials. Cory was kind, thoughtful, understanding and a good communicator. Absolutely 5 stars to this place.
Good location, but rough around the edges
We booked a 4 night stay at this home and were a bit disappointed when we arrived. The images on the listing are accurate but home is smaller than we expected.
There is a bedroom on each floor and while none of the mattresses were queen sized, some of the head boards were. Plus, the small bed in the loft area was 3-4" higher on one side. It looks like the foot-board was from a different, taller, bed.
The kitchen is excellent. We made a lot of use of the stove and oven, though the available pans left something to be desired. As far as rentals go though, the kitchen was great; Full size appliances and plenty of prep space. And, generally speaking, everything was clean when we arrived.
The two bathrooms are compact, but workable. The flooring is interesting, but doesn't clean easily. Neither of the two bathrooms have any ventilation fans. The second bathroom appears to have been tucked into a closet and is fully within the middle floor's bedroom.
The bedroom on the ground floor, while not technically a 'basement' is basically a basement. The room was very humid, and the two small windows didn't offer much ventilation. The basement is exposed on the outside, and not back-filled with soil, but that doesn't change the feeling of being in a basement. It's dark and humid. The door to this room, from the stairs, is not regular door size and the flooring isn't complete, or fastened. The door rubs on the floor and is tough to move. This bed, along with many of the others, were deeply uncomfortable and none of our group slept well.
The deck, as you enter, and the porch facing the water, both lean away from the house. A little unsettling, nut nothing to worry about. It's an indicator though of the fit and finish of the home generally. Nearly all of the doors rub on the floors, or don't close properly.
The upper porch is setup pretty well, with seating and a picnic table. We ate all of our meals out there, which was great.
There is a large sandy beach area, with two kayaks and a canoe, plus paddles. The body of water is pretty large and there is plenty of space to paddle around and lots of wildlife to be seen. We visited in early September and there were groups of geese lading on the lake every few hours, plus ducks.
Overall, the place is Ok, but there are a lot of details that let it down. For the big cleaning fee you have the pay, it was very annoying to have to take all of our trash with us when we left, or use the town's dump.
Great for kids
The walk-in swimming from the beach was ideal for kids. Great location. I would want to stay here again
Loved it! Private and secluded piece of property!
We had a great time! While there are neighbors next door, you would never know it. And the beach is so private and secluded. We will definitely be back!
Thank you Julie!! It was great having you and your welcome back anytime!! :)
When you’re not taking advantage of the home’s lakefront, drive 6 miles into downtown NorthConway to pursue cozy cafes, gourmet restaurants, unique boutiques and more!

Hit the slopes at Cranmore Mountain Resort just 16 minutes away! When you're not skiing or snowboarding, browse the tax-free shopping outlets for some après-ski fun.
