First time to Aruba

What a fantastic trip. The resort was clean and well kept. The BBQ station was convenient and kept very clean. The rooms had everything we needed, the cooler was great for our trips to baby beach. Great location, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to be convenient. Carlos was incredibly helpful and kind. He is by far the best property manager we've ever encountered. His smile and enthusiasm lights up the property and our day. It really is one happy island and we can't wait to return. Especially since we flew into a snow storm in Toronto.Thank you for the wonderful anniversary vacation and cherished memories.

Deceiving pictures and description

You are greeted by a manager who cannot speak English, artificial plants (yes, plastic), AstroTurf,an over-size bathtub (about 10 x 30) they call a pool which is 3 feet deep with dirty hard plastic chairs with no cushions for comfort. Your "patio" (about 10 x 10) outside your sliders has chair cushions that are shot and flat. Your enter your room to a king size bed and one chaise-type chair and no bureau or bedside tables - just a little shelf with a minuscule lamp. Then a low divider to separate the kitchenette area which is barely big enough for one with a microwave, a sink, and a tiny refrig with tiny, tiny freezer area and no ice trays. You want ice your buy it. No hot water in sink - wash glasses in cold water! Then the bath which is adequate with an oval toilet and cheap plastic round toilet seat - no vanity, just a couple tiny shelves. They only supply one roll of TP! In the kitchen area there is an Ikea-type 2-door pantry about 30" wide with shelves. That is your closet and bureau. No drawers anywhere. We were given "Rules" and if you want a hair dryer it is $/day, an iron or board $/day, clean towel within 7 days it is $/towel, sheets $, cleaning of room $. Everything you would expect is an extra charge.

Best place I’ve ever stayed. Exactly as advertised. Staff was exceptional. Will be staying again.

For anyone who might be reading through the reviews and be a little worried because of this jerk Andy who totally tore down the beautiful grounds and kind and attentive staff at yoyita. I am here to clarify some things for you. I don’t know where this man ever stayed before. Probably in his mothers house his entire life, but I have been all over the world. I’ve stayed at the “nicest” resorts and all inclusives and have sometimes been a little let down by them. It’s hard to complain when you’re on vacation unless you’re a total jerk like Andy. The room looked exactly as advertised in the pictures. Everything was brand new and the room was spotless. The pool was ten steps from your door and very private. You don’t have to walk ten miles to get to it like at the Marriott. And it’s not littered with children, adults, and iguanas. The astroturf grass and one decorative plastic plant outside your door keeps the bugs away. And not all of the plants are plastic, those were the only two things. Jose, who I’ll get too later (and who Andy rudely insulted) actually grabbed me two coconuts off the tree you’ll see in the pictures. Try and get them to do that for you at the Marriott. The patio was quiet, clean, and absolutely peaceful. There weren’t lizards running all over the place like at the Marriott. I saw a few little ones near the entrance. But if that bothers you go to Canada instead of Aruba. You won’t see any lizards there. And if you do wanna see lizards, walk across to the Marriott. It’s nice that while you’re trying to relax you don’t have iguanas running all over the place and trying to steal your food like they do at the Marriott. The pool area was absolutely flawless. They had a few floats and plenty of chairs to sit in that were very comfortable. And the way the pool lights up at night adds to the ambiance and the breeze. It’s a short walk to the beach and at night I just took cabs. I know I’ve been using the Marriott as an example a lot. But I’m doing so because it’s one of the nicer hotels. And I just want you to understand how much BETTER I thought Yoyita was. To the staff. Absolutely outstanding. They were on top of everything and just extremely kind people. It was very safe and secure and I felt like I was at home at times. Jose, was absolutely outstanding. And we easily broke down the language barrier with google translate. I actually ran out of room to write this review cause I can’t say enough about this place. 5 stars all around.

Great rental, host, and staff. 3 minute walk to Marriott and beach. Unit is clean, comfortable, and everything you would want for a stay near the beach. Will be back!

What a gem we found just minutes away from Palm Beach!

This place is even better than pictured! The villas are pristine and serene. Just the place we were looking for, walking distance to Palm Beach, private patio and a pool to enjoy anytime we wanted. But the best part was the great night sleep we had on the most comfortable king size bed! Thanks Cybel for supplying chairs for us to take down to the beach, they sure came in handy! Without a doubt we will return to your villa! We just LOVED our stay with you, it sure was difficult to leave.

Our experience here was great. It’s a small walk to the beach which is fine. Just wish it was a store near by lol. We didn’t use the pool it’s only 3’ deep.

Great location and great value!

Overall we had a great experience at Yoyita suites. Upon arrival, the host is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and well kept, exactly as pictured. The location is conveniently located close to the beach, bars, restaurants, and about 3 blocks from the nearest grocery store. Everything is within walking distance, and though there is ample parking we did not need to rent a car. We met the owners during our stay and they are awesome. They treat you like family :) We'll be definitely be back!

This property was perfect! Clean, quaint, comfortable, GREAT location!

We stay at all accommodation levels (from the Ritz to small boutique hotels). We typically prefer to stay in an area with local culture as opposed to high rise haven. With this location you get a bit of both. You are in a residential neighborhood with pristine accommodations (no children permitted so a chill vibe) and only a 5 minute SAFE walk through the marsh to the Marriott and high rise/restaurant/tourist area as well as the beautiful beach. The staff is lovely. The sound system wired in at the pool/courtyard at the pool is AWESOME! I HIGHLY recommend one of the rooms poolside..even though we never used the pool the ambiance is ideal. Great, comfortable stay! Will be back! Would be a great stay for a group of couples or adult family!!
