The house was great, the neighborhood is good too. You really can walk to where u need. We walk to the bjcc for the concert we cane to see. She has many amenities and the beds were comfortable with extra pillow and slippers(we didn't need them though). We had good cell reception too.

A wonderful stay in Birmingham! Everything inside the house was exactly as expected — updated amenities, powerful HVAC, hot water, and even complimentary snacks. Our only snag was that a next-door neighbor has a very loud dog chained up outside who barks at just about everything he sees, so we didn’t kick it on the porch like I was hoping.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, the host was very responsive and helpful, and the listing is super close to the BJCC, which is exactly what we needed! Would definitely stay here again!

We had such an amazing stay! The house was cozy and clean, close enough to hear the music coming from the amphitheater and a short drive to everything downtown! Would absolutely stay here again! The host was great with communicating to us everything we needed to know

The house was the perfect location for the music festival we went to. The owner was extremely accommodating and very polite. The home was cute and in a quiet neighborhood. If we go to the event next year, I'll for sure book this location again.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the Convention Center. The homes location for the tournament was really good! We walked to the Convention center the first day, about 20 minutes, but drove the other 2 tournament days. Overall, the property was clean and very spacious for our needs. It is an older home with a lot of charm. The host was very responsive with any questions. Check in was a breeze and the beds were incredibly comfortable. If you're a light sleeper, I would recommend to bring ear plugs, as throughout the night there were several barking dogs, airplanes and trains both nights we stayed.The bathroom served our family just fine. We did run out of toilet paper as only one roll was in the home, so we had to purchase more during our stay.Overall, it was a good stay and a great value.

Hi Gloria. Thank you for the review. To state the home is 20 minutes from any of the listed attractions is untrue. I walk the area often. However I do understand sometime people think walkable means at your doorstep. If it’s less than a 5 minute Uber ride it’s definately walkable. As for the dogs. The dogs mentioned belong to the neighboring home and are fenced in at the very back of the property. They aren’t roaming free nor do they impede and activities of the home or property. I implore anyone renting the home to read all the reviews and look at the map of the home relative to the attractions. Other than the Westin or Sheraton Hotel there are no other properties closer than Finer Rental. Actually the Sheraton is a longer walk to the new Coca Cola amphitheater and uphill.

Thank you for your kind words about the cleanliness of the property! Regarding the refrigerator, we later learned that the area experienced a power outage during your stay. Samsung refrigerators require a simple reset after a power interruption — unplugging for 5 minutes and plugging back in restores full function. We wish we had known so we could have walked you through it immediately! We have since added reset instructions to the property guide so future guests have that information on hand. We hope to welcome you back for a seamless stay!

I love, love, love historical homes and this one was giving...spacious with hardwoods throughout. I appreciate the soft robes and treats for the pets. Neighborhood potential.

Lovely Space

This was a lovely stay in a nice neighborhood. All of the neighbors we interacted with were kind. The place was clean and spacious, although they only provided one roll of toilet paper for our entire family, so we had to purchase our own. But they had plenty of everything else, including towels and toothbrushes, etc. I loved the back deck and we were able to use the grill which was also fun for us. Thank goodness we could park and go in from the back because there are a lot of stairs in the front and some in our party have knee issues, so it was great to have the back door option. The tvs were nice and big and there was one in every room. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Adorable home about 5 minutes from the BJCC!

The home is very clean and adorable. It has such character and charm. Digital check in and check out was amazing. The host, Nina, is very attentive to her guests. She was quick to answer any questions we had. She is very accommodating. Parking is in the back and you access that by an unmarked street that runs behind the homes. Not hard to find at all. It is a neighborhood that is being revitalized. Many older homes are being worked on. The area is going to look amazing when they finish. It is in such a great location to everything. You can drive yourself or get a ride share. We used Lyft and had no issues getting drivers. I definitely recommend this location if you are going to the BJCC. It is so close. Lyft ride took us like 5 minutes. Give this gem a chance!

Only issue we had was the keypad to the house battery was dying and it made it hard to get in the house. The host offered to replace the battery unfortunately we weren’t able to be there for that to happen. Overall nice house. It does advertise walking distance to uptown and BJCC but it was actually a mile and half walk.

Regarding walkability, distances can vary depending on pace and destination, but the home is located close to Uptown, City Walk, and Protective Stadium, with walking, scooter, and rideshare options readily available.
