I’ve sat on this review for a while and feel like I just have to put it out there, I’m not usually one to complain. The place is completely fine. It was cleaned and everything works and it’s just like the pictures in the listing.Check-in process - probably the worst I’ve ever had in my 20 stays on Airbnb and Vrbo. The door code I was given didn’t work. The next door neighbor (I assume property manager?) had to let us in. This is a non-negotiable for me. The lowest bar for a stay is to have doors that work. It was even in the check in instructions that the keypad doesn’t always work. If the keypad is fussy, replace it. If it’s not evident, the property backs up against a cemetery. It wasn’t a huge deal for us but might be for some. Cleanliness - there were ultrasonic pest repellents plugged in through the property. I appreciate trying to remedy the problem, but knowing there’s a pest problem it was hard to get comfortable. Pet Friendly - the place was indeed pet friendly, however the back yard grass was no mowed prior to our stay. It was about 6 to 7 inches, well up to my dogs chest. He has a grass allergy and it made it difficult to let him enjoy the yard. Long grass is ripe for fleas and ticks too, a dog friendly property should have a properly mowed yard. Bathroom lighting - having smart lights in the bathroom is just weird. My girlfriend was attempting to use the bathroom to shower and the lights were changing colors and going on and off.All in all, 3/10.
