Romantic Blue Ridge Cabin, King Bed, Secluded Hot Tub, Mt. Views, Pet Friendly!

Romantic getaway for two at our charming log cabin in the woods with a private hot tub and a new Puffy brand hybrid mattress on our luxurious king bed. The cabin is nestled on Cherry Log Mountain, less than 5 miles from Blue Ridge and under 12 miles from Ellijay. Perfect for midweek stays to enjoy a peaceful retreat, getaway and unplug.

This is the perfect location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Relax in our beautiful, private hot tub on our newly renovated deck, enjoying nature and the stunning scenery. Hot tub operates year-round.

Pets welcome! (one dog) $50. Pet fee required (VRBO does not automatically apply this). Please notify us at booking. An undeclared pet will result in an additional cleaning charge.

Enjoy the cozy wood-burning fireplace inside streaming your favorite shows on the Roku Smart TVs in the living room & bedroom, use your own streaming accounts. Enjoy the record player w/vintage vinyl albums. Books & games provided to relax & unplug.

Full kitchen with all of the necessities needed to cook meals. We have a Keurig and provide an ample supply of K-Cups, as well as a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker with coffee & filters provided.

Charming Cozy Cabin in the Mountains, dog friendly with a gated deck area, with a new Weber grill, a private hot tub, and lots of amenities.

Our place is small & cozy, perfect for couples, and 1 pooch.

Lots of hiking trails, waterfalls, wineries, cute shops, and restaurants nearby, or stay in and relax and enjoy the serenity of nature in a secluded spot.

Please note: Mt Ridge Retreat is a true mountain getaway—peaceful and private, with gravel roads, wildlife nearby, and the occasional power flicker during storms.

Storms and high winds occasionally knock out the internet/power. Please let us know if this happens, though I usually hear about it from our neighbor watch folks who live near the cabin. Usually, things come back on fairly quickly, but we will notify you if it is going to be longer than expected.

The cabin is located off a one-lane gravel mountain road. It's well-maintained, but we recommend driving slowly. The roads in the winter months can be a little more challenging, so it is recommended to drive an AWD or 4WD vehicle, especially when snow or low temperatures are expected.

During the Spring/Summer months it's not as big an issue, I drive my car up and have not had any problems.

Exterior security camera installed at driveway for safety purposes only. There are no interior cameras, and no cameras monitor private areas such as the hot tub or inside the cabin.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - the cabin was very cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountains. We loved that it was truly dog-friendly, allowing our pup to enjoy time outside on the deck, with a dog bed and treats provided. Rebecca was very attentive, checking in on us throughout to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall it was a great place to stay for a relaxing weekend trip together to start the new year!

This is a fantastic cabin for a couple, especially if you bring your dog! Everything was perfect and Rebecca is the sweetest host. Every detail was well thought out and so appreciated. Rebecca stayed in touch with us before the trip and during our stay to be sure our vacation was memorable. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well stocked. The hot tub was nice. Highly recommend this cabin!

The cabin was very nice and it was well stocked. There were a lot of nice personal touches, it felt like home. After a day of hiking, it was nice to come back and get into the hot tub for a soak. The owner Rebecca was always available for anything that we might need. We saw lots of deer around the cabin. It’s perfect for a couple and we had our labrador retriever. We would love to go back sometime.

Beautiful location with a lovely view. The property was so warm and cozy. Made even the rainy day in a good day. The kitchen was handy since we cooked most of our days we were there. Fabulous vacation!

We had the best time at Rebecca’s cabin! It was squeaky clean, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets were high quality. We absolutely loved the fireplace and hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked. We hiked to three waterfalls and loved exploring the area. Cool downtown area with shops and restaurants. Cherry log mountain felt very safe and the whole area was well kept. We will definitely return in the fall for the foliage!

Absolutely loved our stay at Rebecca’s cabin. Great access to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. So perfect for a couple’s getaway. She’s thought of everything! From the ambient lighting on the porch, to the pup snacks, to the batteries for the remote, and everything in between. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s and you can definitely see the difference here. From the Levelor blinds to the soft blankets, to the extra ply toilet tissue (cheap toilet paper is one of my pet peeves) top notch! The cabin itself is adorable and rustic yet has all of the conveniences you’d ever need. The communication and advice on nearby activities was excellent from booking to checking out. We will definitely be back!

We are from the Atlanta area and always loved coming up to the mountains in the fall to enjoy the foliage, the pumpkin patch and the incredible fried pies at Burt’s Pumpkin Patch & Mercier Farms.
When we got the opportunity to get this adorable log cabin, we were excited to turn it into a special place to go to be one with nature go hiking and enjoy all the fall activities year-round.
Blue Ridge and Ellijay have so much to offer including so many great shops and restaurants and attractions. It’s a great place to get away from the city and relax.
We are so excited to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

We were so excited to find the Cherry Log Neighborhood. It’s a great spot off the beaten path, yet close to many fun things to see and do. Our place is up on the mountain, drivable but a 4WD or AWD is helpful.
Our cabin is roughly 5 miles to the beautiful town of Blue Ridge, where you will find great restaurants, shops, wineries, hiking, waterfalls.
Checkout the Blue Ridge Mountain Railroad, the Swan Theatre, and Mercier Orchards as some must sees.
There is a spot to access the Benton Mackaye trail in our neighborhood, as well as some great hiking throughout Cherry Log Mountain.

What makes this property unique

It’s a charming log cabin with a beautiful view that you can enjoy while soaking in the luxurious hot tub, running year around.
Inside, there is a fully stocked kitchen, a wood-burning fireplace, enjoy the Roku tv's to stream your favorite shows.
And we added a record player with some vintage vinyl to take you back. Or relax and unplug with a good book or enjoy some board games or cards.
Our new deck is a private sanctuary for you and your pooch to enjoy. We just added a Weber propane gas grill to cook outside immersed in the scenic views, a patio set w/umbrella is a perfect spot to enjoy supper under the stars. Your dog is safe on the enclosed deck where they will bask in the sunlight look out at the natural setting (that's what my dog does).
