Your home away from home in Waukegan with 5 lovely bedrooms. This gorgeous house features 4 queen beds and 1 twin bed, perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine. Relax in the living room with a cozy sofa bed for additional space. Relax outside on the large deck overlooking the beautiful back yard. With 1.5 bathrooms and and plenty of space to relax, your comfort is our priority. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our house.
Close to the Navy Base, Six Flags, the Lakefront, Casino and lots of shopping. Located halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee.

This was a cute and charming historic house that was perfect for our naval graduation stay! Plenty of room and outdoor space and everything we needed. Host was quick to communicate when we had questions. Close to the naval base and plenty of food options in the area.

We enjoyed our stay and loved all the room in the house.However, that kitchen and basement are ice cold!!!! Then, when using the stove, we turned on the upper vent and water was dripping down all over the stove top. Otherwise, the house was great.

This was by far the best experience we have had staying at a VRBO. The host Todd went above and beyond and was so gracious to our family during the winter storm and our visit with our sailor after graduation. The house was spotless and exactly what we needed for the family. We had all the grandparents and extended family in town for the graduation and the house had ample room for us all. The rooms are spacious! We loved the pool table and the ping pong table and even hosted extra sailors for a Thanksgiving lunch. It was an awesome trip!

Family trip

This was a very pleasant stay. Everything was just as shown and communication with the host was very nice. I left my purse in the home and when I sent the message to see if it was there, I got a prompt response and I was able to get it. I would recommend this home, it was a lovely place.

Great way to celebrate your sailor!!

We came to celebrate our son graduating bootcamp. The house is perfect for a large family. Pool table area is fantastic. Basement with ping pong is perfect. Everything nicely stocked!! We couldn’t have found a more perfect place!!

Our family gathered here for my son's RTC graduation. The house was exactly as described, the kitchen had everything we needed for some home cooked meals, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool table and ping pong table were big hits. I would recommend bug spray the mosquitos especially if you plan on playing wiffle ball in the field. Todd was very responsive and accommodating. My son's liberty changed and we were able to spend extra time with him thanks to Todd's kindness. Would definitely recommend to families traveling to the Waukegan area!

Beautiful Property—Like You've Escaped to the Country

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sage Retreat. We celebrated the Fourth of July there with our young adult children, and it easily accommodated our group. The house is a beautiful, restored, historic property with a gorgeous backyard. We relaxed and chatted on the large back deck, and we enjoyed dinner there as well. We played frisbee down in the green, lush backyard—it almost feels as if you're not in the city at all, as if you've escaped to the country. At night, we sat out back and watched fireflies light up the backyard. It was everything we were hoping for. We highly recommend this property.

* Navy Family Recommended for Grad *Our family had the best time, home-away-from-home at this property. Everyone was impressed with the high-end furnishings, the history and design of the home, fully furnished with everything possible that we would need! Due to the design of the home, anyone ca close the beautiful french doors to areas of the home for privacy and surprisingly...ise reduction including main floor....room to room plus downstairs from upstairs and visa/versa. We had breakfast at the large dining table in the center of the home; beautifully centered around the pool table room, one of the living rooms and kitchen. Very spacious! Loved that a highchair for baby included, because we have one on the way. Family played games on the deck out back in the evening surrounded with privacy and the beautiful country scenery. To be honest, there were very very few minor things that need attention as our own homes with regular upkeep and maintenance that I will bring to the attention to the property host. I am confident that maitenence will be addressed for that exceptional service that we received while visiting. Our Host came asap. If you are a Military Family like we are for Graduation or visit your spouse/son/daughter, this property is highly recommemded. All my family members were impressed! Only 10-15 minutes from the Naval Base.I hope this rating helps future visitors. Note, if you have a disability, please t the host with questions before booking.
