"The Coop" - Charming 2-bedroom cottage in Ellis. Dogs Welcome!

Welcome to "The Coop"! This charming chicken themed cottage is a welcome space for you and your pups. Located in the middle of Ellis, only 16 miles from Hays. Whether your are looking for a space to relax for a week of hunting or stopping in on your drive from Kansas City to Denver, you will feel right at home! Main floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. We have a stocked coffee and tea bar, a fully stocked kitchen, and a laundry room for your use. Our bathroom has all the amenities you will need including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels and a hairdryer. Upstairs there are 2 joined bedrooms each with a queen bed and a reading nook. Please be aware that you have to walk through the front bedroom to access the back one.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

"The Coop" was the perfect overnight stay off of I-70! It was clean and comfortable and the host was very accommodating! My dog had the perfect place to easily use the restroom right out the kitchen door.

We were in town helping some family. The rental we usually use was not available so we gave this one a try. The kitchen was equipt to meet our needs. There were several condiments in the fridge and some things in the freezer. I am not use to that and had to make sure to keep my stuff separate. Very nice stocked coffee bar, much appreciated. The beds were comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Cozy in The Coop

We were very comfortable during our stay. The directions were detailed and easy to follow. The cottage was very clean and adorably decorated and furnished. Workmanship on the renovations was very professional. A lot of thought had gone into providing basic supplies to make our stay pleasant.

The house was clean, with well-appointed amenities. Cozy, but comfortable for 4 people. (Note to hostess: drapes or curtains over the blinds would be very helpful to make the bedrooms darker.) The parking is a bit tight, but maneuverable with caution. (Watch the telephone service post directly behind parking area, when backing out.)
