Yosemite West is this national park`s premier neighborhood. Nestled into a mountainside central to both main gates, it is minutes from the park`s main attractions in both directions, and close to some of the world`s most famous vistas and popular hiking trails.
Lots of nice hikes close to the neighborhood. View points and even winter recreation/summer golfing nearby, but you will need a car to get to those and Yosemite Valley from the house.

Everything was great. Hope they have a cleaning tools - brooms and sweepers so that we can clean during our stay. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay.
Convenient location; 25-30 minute drive to Yosemite Valley (heart of action); Quiet; large enough for our family of 5; lovely sunset views; Great communication with host;
A great cabin! Our big family of seven had a great time here. This is the most comfortable cabin with the most convenient transportation and the most complete facilities we have stayed in this year. I look forward to coming back next time.
We stayed for four nights and found this a great location for day hikes in Yosemite. Listing and photos are accurate, including driving time to Yosemite valley and Glacier Point. The house was clean and has everything our group of six needed in terms of kitchen set up and hang out space.
Beautiful spot. We were surprised to find that this was a duplex, so it as not as private as we had hoped. (We did our search and booking for a standalone home.) Ask the manager for GPS pin to find the home. Navigation (Waze) based on the address took us 45 minutes past the home. Great location once we found it!
We loved the location and the layout. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and nice. Parking was great. The kitchen could use a refresh. Pots and pans very worn. No good knives. Not enough trash bags and supplies and miles from a store. Stove is old but we made it work. Only a pod type coffee maker that didn’t work for us with 5 coffee drinkers in the mountains. We had all adults, so I wish the bunk beds had been 2 twins. Otherwise though we had a great time.

Specious place everything describe like the photos. We visit in March total of 7 adults and 2 children lots of place for my 2 years old to run around. 2 large patios to enjoy outdoor view. This place is fully equipped with things you need to cook for 10 people and has children’s plates and bowls.
When we first got there there were a ft of snow cover the parking and walk way to the front door. This area has poor reception for both T-Mobile and Verizon in order to contact the host I had to walk in snow to get into the house. Once I found the host respond was quick and someone come clean up the snow with in 30 min.
Google map told us we arrived much earlier then where the property located so keep going downhill you should be able to find the property. Overall great place.
This was the first time we have stayed in Yosemite West. This is a fantastic location to visit the valley, Glacier Point and Wawona. We really enjoyed the property. The house was very clean. We really enjoyed the deck for breakfast and to enjoy the sunsets to finish the days. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and grill worked great for our dinners at the VRBO. We will definitely try to return to this VRBO on future trips.
This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet setting and great views. The place is well set up and very comfortable for a large group if you want a couple of separate areas to spread out the family/families. Also has chair and bed for infants/toddlers. For coffee drinkers - has a Keurig with pods provided and a drip coffee maker. :-)There is a bit of driving to some of the main points of interest in the park, but it is very close to get to Glacier Point. For out of towners, or those with a fear of heights, driving in via Hwy 140 from the west follows the Merced river and does not have a lot of high up cliff road sections. We came in from the north but exited from the main valley area on 140 and it was much better!Host was very prompt and helpful in communications!
