About Emily Leonard

We (Emily and Anthony) are transplants to the great city of St. Louis. Having arrived in 2016 to start Anthony's ophthalmology (eye surgery) residency at WashU, we have hit the ground running. We enjoy adventuring in our city and beyond. We have two sweet young girls, Avery and Olivia, who keep us busy at home and on the go.

Emily Leonard purchased this house in 2016

Why Emily Leonard chose Tower Grove South

We bought The Miami House because it was the perfect mix of location without having to sacrifice any amenities. There's plenty of space to stretch out yet you don't have to travel far to get anywhere. We loved the neighborhood when we first toured and we still love it now (we only live 4 blocks away!).

What makes this house unique

We were enamored by the original hardwood floors, the high ceilings, the gourmet kitchen, and open concept living space. As most of our family lives far away and has always been so kind to host us, we were eager to have enough home to return the favor on their ventures to St. Louis. We gratefully extend this tradition of hosting friends and family all under one roof to you who want to vacation together and in style.

Geat house!

  • 5 of 5

We came to St. Louis for the SEC tournament. This was a very nice house for 5 couples. We had plenty of room and the house has a great kitchen and living room for a group of 10 to hang out in. This location was 15-20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. Emily was great and very helpful.

Wonderful Time in St Louis

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Miami House in St. Louis while we celebrated a wedding and the birth of triplets. It was the perfect size for our family and everyone had a cozy room and bed to sleep in. It was stocked with small extras like band aids which we needed. I enjoyed the old fashioned feel yet updated and modern. It was close to the science center, zoo and botanical gardens. We also drove a short ways to Ted Drewes frozen custard. Yum!!

Parking was adequate for our cars and we could park in the back and there was always a space out front.

I would recommend Miami House for a place for your family to enjoy the sites of St Louis.

This home was the perfect layout and comfort for our family trip. The owners were very responsive and gracious. Unfortunately, we were in town for a family funeral. Everything about this home made our stay comfortable and welcoming.
