Situé à l'Ocean Inn sur l'île de Palms, ce condo de 2 chambres / 1 salle de bain à l'étage est l'endroit idéal pour une famille qui veut s'évader. Une des meilleures qualités de ce condo est qu’il est à l’étage supérieur et offre une lumière et des vues fantastiques. Il est situé à un angle parfait pour voir nos magnifiques couchers de soleil "lowcountry". La décoration dans tout le condo est lumineuse, "beachy", amusante et décontractée. C'est un endroit où vous pouvez vraiment vous détendre.

Le salon a une grande télévision avec câble Comcast. Wi-Fi est également inclus. Par la fenêtre, vous pourrez voir la piscine, légèrement obscurcie par les palmiers et les arbustes situés au bord de la piscine. Laissez les adolescents se reposer au bord de la piscine pendant que les parents se rafraîchissent dans la climatisation.

Il s’agit d’une unité sur deux niveaux avec la cuisine, la chambre à coucher et la salle de bain surélevées à quelques pas de la pièce à vivre. C’est ainsi en raison de la nature historique du bâtiment original et des ajouts qui lui ont été apportés dans les années 70. On pense que le bâtiment d'origine était un ancien arrêt de tramway avec des chambres à louer, situé ailleurs sur l'île et déplacé ici pour cr��er l'auberge. Nous savons, d'après les plans d'étage d'origine du bâtiment, que le plan d'étage d'origine ne ressemblait presque plus à ce qu'il est actuellement. Ainsi, de petites chambres et des escaliers dans des endroits inattendus mais beaucoup de caractère!

En haut des marches de l'espace de vie, la cuisine complète a de nouveaux comptoirs en granit et une table pour profiter de dîners de famille. Si vous voulez cuisiner, il y a de nombreuses casseroles et ustensiles pour le faire. Il y a un grand réfrigérateur, beaucoup de vaisselle et de boissons.

Les chambres, bien que petites, disposent chacune d'un lit queen confortable, d'une table de chevet et d'un éclairage de chevet. Il y a aussi un petit placard.

La salle de bain a une combinaison de baignoire et douche et il y a aussi un nouveau comptoir en granit et un nouvel évier.

Great little condo! We loved the location to the beach and downtown area. Condo had everything we needed. It was a little tight but very manageable. We would definitely stay again!

The place was so nice and convenient to everything thereon Isle of Palms. Had a front row seat for the July4 fireworks by sitting in our beach chairs in lawn out front ofthe place.

Enjoyed our stay the week after Easter. Communication was exceptional. Great value on a place very close to the beach. Nice granite counter tops, overall a well taken care of property, with amazing support by the property manager. Will stay again.

This unit was very clean and comfortable, and the manager has thought of everything to make the stay seamless! She included many special touches to make us feel very welcome! The short walk to the beach was a big plus too. Very nice rental!

We had a great stay. The residence was in an ideal location, and parking was ample. The only complaint we had was that there was no pizza cutter in the kitchen. Lol. I’d say that we would definitely stay here again!

Expectations Met, Over and Beyond!

As my husband and I had never, in 41 years of marriage, traveled with a pet I had no idea what to expect of a pet friendly condo. As it turned out, our unit at Ocean Inn was perfect for "the three of us!" Unit 201 was clean beachy cute, and well stocked. As other reviews stated, I had no reminders that other pets had stayed before us! No fur, no odors.... Also, as others have stated, Beth, the property manager is pretty amazing. She was on property occasionally, overseeing a remodel, making sure all our needs were met. For us, she made recommendations, loaned me her raincoat! (Unasked), and mailed my walking shoes back to me that were hiding in a closet! (Thank you!) We hope to return to Isle of Palms soon, and this unit would suit the 3 of us just fine!

Perfect place for what we were looking for.

I was traveling with my 3 children for a Charleston vacation. My kids are ages 15, 14 and 5. I have learned that we fare better with access to a kitchen and have separate spaces. This was the perfect amount of space for us. I wish I could say we took advantage of all the amenities the property offered, but by a weird fluke, the weather was not cooperative. However, it was a perfect stay because anything we wanted to do was within a 30 minute or less drive! My best friend was about 30 minutes north…. Charleston 20 minutes, a few of the plantation/gardens were right at 30 minutes. The beach was a very quick and easy walk with many restaurants and snack places all around. This unit doesn’t have much of a view, but we were busy being out and about! The unit was clean and I loved the added luggage racks in both closets. I also liked the fact that there was a laundry basket in the unit.

Nice place for the money, maybe wish we would have splurged on our stay.

This is a tough place to review for me. It's one of those places that is nice (enough) and clean (enough). The price is great! Other condos that I found in the area are much more expensive and further from the beach. We had a problem with our a/c not working and Beth (the property manager) got it fixed right away.. She really is great! Things that we liked: -the walk to the beach; in just a couple minutes we were there! Nice board walk for half of the walk! -the pool was great - nice and clean. We really enjoyed the 'neighborhood' feel -Beth was amazing! Every time we saw her during our stay, she asked if everything was good and gave suggestions on things to see and do. She really made us feel welcomed. Things we didn't so much love: -the size. This is a very small condo for 4 adults and 1 child. I think it's more suited for 2 adults and their kids. The beds were so close to the wall, it was difficult to get in/out without waking the other person. -the furniture was a bit outdated. There are nice decorations and the paint is fresh, so at first glance, this place looks updated. Once you start looking, you can see that it is outdated- ceiling fan was loud, light switches not working, dirty vents/filters etc. -the laundry. we kept finding hair in the sheets and towels. Overall, we were happy with our stay. There were just those few items that kept me from giving a 5. If I ever came back to the area with just me and my spouse, we would give this condo another try.

It is only through honest feedback that our accommodations can be the best they can be. Our number one priority is the comfort of our guests and I assure you that much effort is made to provide clean accommodations and provisions. Any lapse is certainly an unfortunate occurrence and we hope you will accept our regrets.. As mentioned, I am readily accessible and willing to address any resolvable issues as they arise. The listings can be tricky when determining size requirements and expectations since the only thing guests have to go on is square footage and photos. If a guest has a specific need or concern, they should feel free to inquire about any specifics so they secure the accommodations that will best meet their needs.

Family Vacation

We had a lovely stay the week of the 4th of July at this condo. It was cute and homey and convenient to everything. We would definitely stay again! I would also like to add the grounds are immaculate and the condo was very clean and quiet!

Nice spot close to the beach

The beach access is absolutely the primary perk of the spot. Loved walking both to the beach and to the local restaurants. You could easily park here and not leave which (I imagine) would be a benefit during a busy season. We were there on the off season so it wasn’t an issue. The steps in the unit were not an issue for us and the living room is nice, bright, and airy. I will say, the porch view is not desirable, but the property is very well maintained and a nice view exists on the other side of the property. I would return… the sunrise views from the beach are awesome.

Great spot

Everything was as described. Cozy, clean condo within very easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. We would stay there again but would ask for a condo on the front side facing the ocean.

We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay and completely understand the inconvenience of not being able to smoke right outside the unit. The comfort and convenience of all guests is important to us and we appreciate the feedback. At a time when smoking was allowed on porches, we found that smoke inevitably wafts inside the condos and clings mightily to walls and furniture - and is difficult to remediate before the arrival of a non-smoking guest which of course lead to complaints. (So does frying fish and shrimp in the unit - which is another thing we kindly ask guests not to do.) For that reason, * as is clearly stated in the house rules on the listing * , smoking is not allowed by doors and windows of our condos. In this case, the porch serves two units and the doors are in close enough proximity that smoke affects the properties and guests nearby. We simply ask that guests step away from the footprint of the building when they smoke to prevent this, and very much appreciate the effort it takes to do so.

A Not-So-Hidden Gem!

This place was SO great. A 5 minute (usually less) walk from everything you could possibly need including the beach, pool, grocery, gas, coffee, amazing seafood/pizza/ice cream. The condo itself was adorable, clean and just the right size for me, my two kids and their grandmother. It has literally everything included in the property except food but the kitchen was very well stocked. Our unit didn’t have a dishwasher which was my only criticism because when you have little kids you blow through some dishes—but that was such a small sacrifice for everything else contained within the experience. They provided toys/games/books and even had a small collection of community beach and pool toys provided. The little beach cart that was provided was a huge convenience and there is even a little sand rinsing station next to the pool gate which we made use of multiple times daily. I can’t tell you how much we loved our stay and will be back! Communication with Beth the property manager was crystal clear and she was readily accessible at all times for any needs.

Felt like home but on vacation!

Ocean Inn is exactly what our family needed. The Inn was relaxing and well maintained both interior and exteriorly. The kitchen essentials were the best. We did not want for anything. The condo was very well stocked.The location was convenient to the beach and restaurants and also Including of course our nightly ice cream runs to Ben & Jerry’s.

Lovely spring break visit

This was our visit to IOP and we found this to be a great place to stay for our 6 day trip. Very close to shops, restaurants and - most importantly - the beach. The place was just the right size for our family (kids aged 5 and 7, our dog, and 2 adults) and the property had everything we needed for our stay. Actually, it had even more than we were expecting! We didn’t need to use our own supply of TP, garbage bags, cooking spray, or dish soap because there were plenty available. The property manager Beth was super friendly and helpful, and provided excellent pre-arrival instructions. We would stay here again if we find ourselves back in IOP.

Nice stay

We wanted somewhere inexpensive. Nice little condo for the three of us. Dont think I would want to have any more people than that. Only thing we didnt know is the washer/dryer is not in the condo. Its in the grounds. It was close by though. Bit of a pain as had to her quarters and only two washers and two dryers so had to keep going over to try and snag on. Lovely and close to beach
