SituĂ© Ă  l'Ocean Inn sur l'Ăźle de Palms, ce condo de 2 chambres / 1 salle de bain Ă  l'Ă©tage est l'endroit idĂ©al pour une famille qui veut s'Ă©vader. Une des meilleures qualitĂ©s de ce condo est qu’il est Ă  l’étage supĂ©rieur et offre une lumiĂšre et des vues fantastiques. Il est situĂ© Ă  un angle parfait pour voir nos magnifiques couchers de soleil "lowcountry". La dĂ©coration dans tout le condo est lumineuse, "beachy", amusante et dĂ©contractĂ©e. C'est un endroit oĂč vous pouvez vraiment vous dĂ©tendre.

Le salon a une grande tĂ©lĂ©vision avec cĂąble Comcast. Wi-Fi est Ă©galement inclus. Par la fenĂȘtre, vous pourrez voir la piscine, lĂ©gĂšrement obscurcie par les palmiers et les arbustes situĂ©s au bord de la piscine. Laissez les adolescents se reposer au bord de la piscine pendant que les parents se rafraĂźchissent dans la climatisation.

Il s’agit d’une unitĂ© sur deux niveaux avec la cuisine, la chambre Ă  coucher et la salle de bain surĂ©levĂ©es Ă  quelques pas de la piĂšce Ă  vivre. C’est ainsi en raison de la nature historique du bĂątiment original et des ajouts qui lui ont Ă©tĂ© apportĂ©s dans les annĂ©es 70. On pense que le bĂątiment d'origine Ă©tait un ancien arrĂȘt de tramway avec des chambres Ă  louer, situĂ© ailleurs sur l'Ăźle et dĂ©placĂ© ici pour crïżœïżœer l'auberge. Nous savons, d'aprĂšs les plans d'Ă©tage d'origine du bĂątiment, que le plan d'Ă©tage d'origine ne ressemblait presque plus Ă  ce qu'il est actuellement. Ainsi, de petites chambres et des escaliers dans des endroits inattendus mais beaucoup de caractĂšre!

En haut des marches de l'espace de vie, la cuisine complÚte a de nouveaux comptoirs en granit et une table pour profiter de dßners de famille. Si vous voulez cuisiner, il y a de nombreuses casseroles et ustensiles pour le faire. Il y a un grand réfrigérateur, beaucoup de vaisselle et de boissons.

Les chambres, bien que petites, disposent chacune d'un lit queen confortable, d'une table de chevet et d'un éclairage de chevet. Il y a aussi un petit placard.

La salle de bain a une combinaison de baignoire et douche et il y a aussi un nouveau comptoir en granit et un nouvel évier.

We had a great stay. The residence was in an ideal location, and parking was ample. The only complaint we had was that there was no pizza cutter in the kitchen. Lol. I’d say that we would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable!

This unit was very clean and comfortable, and the manager has thought of everything to make the stay seamless! She included many special touches to make us feel very welcome! The short walk to the beach was a big plus too. Very nice rental!

Perfect place for what we were looking for.

I was traveling with my 3 children for a Charleston vacation. My kids are ages 15, 14 and 5. I have learned that we fare better with access to a kitchen and have separate spaces. This was the perfect amount of space for us. I wish I could say we took advantage of all the amenities the property offered, but by a weird fluke, the weather was not cooperative. However, it was a perfect stay because anything we wanted to do was within a 30 minute or less drive! My best friend was about 30 minutes north
. Charleston 20 minutes, a few of the plantation/gardens were right at 30 minutes. The beach was a very quick and easy walk with many restaurants and snack places all around. This unit doesn’t have much of a view, but we were busy being out and about! The unit was clean and I loved the added luggage racks in both closets. I also liked the fact that there was a laundry basket in the unit.

Family Vacation

We had a lovely stay the week of the 4th of July at this condo. It was cute and homey and convenient to everything. We would definitely stay again! I would also like to add the grounds are immaculate and the condo was very clean and quiet!

Nice spot close to the beach

The beach access is absolutely the primary perk of the spot. Loved walking both to the beach and to the local restaurants. You could easily park here and not leave which (I imagine) would be a benefit during a busy season. We were there on the off season so it wasn’t an issue. The steps in the unit were not an issue for us and the living room is nice, bright, and airy. I will say, the porch view is not desirable, but the property is very well maintained and a nice view exists on the other side of the property. I would return
 the sunrise views from the beach are awesome.

Great spot

Everything was as described. Cozy, clean condo within very easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. We would stay there again but would ask for a condo on the front side facing the ocean.

A Not-So-Hidden Gem!

This place was SO great. A 5 minute (usually less) walk from everything you could possibly need including the beach, pool, grocery, gas, coffee, amazing seafood/pizza/ice cream. The condo itself was adorable, clean and just the right size for me, my two kids and their grandmother. It has literally everything included in the property except food but the kitchen was very well stocked. Our unit didn’t have a dishwasher which was my only criticism because when you have little kids you blow through some dishes—but that was such a small sacrifice for everything else contained within the experience. They provided toys/games/books and even had a small collection of community beach and pool toys provided. The little beach cart that was provided was a huge convenience and there is even a little sand rinsing station next to the pool gate which we made use of multiple times daily. I can’t tell you how much we loved our stay and will be back! Communication with Beth the property manager was crystal clear and she was readily accessible at all times for any needs.

Felt like home but on vacation!

Ocean Inn is exactly what our family needed. The Inn was relaxing and well maintained both interior and exteriorly. The kitchen essentials were the best. We did not want for anything. The condo was very well stocked.The location was convenient to the beach and restaurants and also Including of course our nightly ice cream runs to Ben & Jerry’s.

Lovely spring break visit

This was our visit to IOP and we found this to be a great place to stay for our 6 day trip. Very close to shops, restaurants and - most importantly - the beach. The place was just the right size for our family (kids aged 5 and 7, our dog, and 2 adults) and the property had everything we needed for our stay. Actually, it had even more than we were expecting! We didn’t need to use our own supply of TP, garbage bags, cooking spray, or dish soap because there were plenty available. The property manager Beth was super friendly and helpful, and provided excellent pre-arrival instructions. We would stay here again if we find ourselves back in IOP.

Nice stay

We wanted somewhere inexpensive. Nice little condo for the three of us. Dont think I would want to have any more people than that. Only thing we didnt know is the washer/dryer is not in the condo. Its in the grounds. It was close by though. Bit of a pain as had to her quarters and only two washers and two dryers so had to keep going over to try and snag on. Lovely and close to beach
