Blackfoot Family Estate

Accommodating a family of 10, this newly remodeled, dog-friendly 4BR home offers the best of everything. A gorgeous kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a great room has a stone fireplace and pool table, and a back deck offers a hot tub. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable on hot summer nights.

This home cannot host more than 8 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7.

There is room for the whole family in the bedroom configuration. Bedroom 1, the Master, is upstairs with a king bed and a spacious master bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual vanity. Bedroom 2 is downstairs with 2 sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds — a total of 4 beds in this ideal kids' room. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are downstairs, each with a queen bed, sitting chairs, and dressers. Additional sleeping is available on the futon in the downstairs living room.

Walking distance to Tahoe Paradise Golf Course, snowmobiling, Lira's supermarket, Freel Perk Coffee, and Verde Mexican Rotisserie restaurant — no need to cross HWY 50 to access these features! Great home base for hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing, and all your mountain activities. Just 9.8 miles to Sierra at Tahoe, 8.8 miles to the Stateline casinos and shops at Heavenly Village, and only 7 miles to Camp Richardson and Pope Beach.

Pets: 1-2 dogs allowed w/ pre-approval, additional fee required. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).

Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Floors are kind of grimy. Need to be mopped more thoroughly. Deck and exterior have peeling paint and are not very inviting. We didn't spend any time on the deck because they look so damaged. A bit worried about the stability. Kitchen could use more utensils and newer pots and pans.

Great Home base for family getaway

My family of four stayed here for a week with my in-laws and brother-in-law. It was a great home base in the South Lake Tahoe area. We especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! The only negatives were that the wood floors were very loud/creaky, and the downstairs mattress next to the kids room was uncomfortable. Overall, the property was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

Winter getaway

Came to Tahoe to ski and explore the area. The house is well layed out. An easy 15 min drive into town for restaurants, activities, and also to the California Lodge at Heavenly Valley Ski area. The property management company is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend this home for families, friends.

Fun for family in spacious, clean home

Great location… close enough to town & ski resorts, but in a nice residential area. We chose because it was spacious.. giving us & our 2 adult children with mates enough space & privacy! We also chose because of amenities: pool table & jacuzzi & that gave us lots of fun & relaxation in the evening hours. Views of mountains from balconies were gorgeous! We would rent again!

The master bedroom was upstairs and there were three bedrooms as well as a TV area downstairs for all the kids to hang out. The kids loved the hot tub and the pool table. The beds were comfortable, linens were nice, house was clean and very well kept and everything we could need was available to us in the house. We had a wonderful time.

Our Blackfoot Family Estate is located near Highway 50, which provides convenient access to the Stateline casinos and entertainment, the lake, as well as the ski areas. We agree with you, the vacation rental ordinance in South Lake Tahoe is one of the strictest in the country. We make an extra effort to communicate the rules very clearly since we’d hate for any of our guests to be surprised with an expensive fine on their vacation. Great location and roomy accommodations

The house is roomy and well-equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The property was spotless. Communication from management was timely and had all of the info needed to access the property and amenities. As stated in the description, there is no air conditioning at this property, and the house was a little warm inside during the day. The attic fan was a great way to provide circulation and there were fans provided to circulate air.

Great Getaway

Stayed here with friends from college and our infant son and dogs. Fenced yard was the perfect size for our pets and the yard felt very secure. The space worked great for our group. No one felt like they were on top of each other and everyone had their own room. The floors are definitely a bit squeaky so with kids or babies that might be sensitive to noise, that could be an issue. Easy to get to Heavenly and the lake. Quick access to restaurants. Overall, a great house and location!

We have come to Tahoe for many years for our family vacation. This is our 2nd year staying in this house and it was great to come back to a familiar place. The house was very clean. The kitchen has great storage and everything you need to make great meals. Only suggestions would be to bring your own pillows if you are staying in the master and The back yard and path to the hot tub could use a little love. Other than these few minor things, this was a perfect home for another great vacation!

Really nice home in South Lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: By far this is one of the nicest holiday homes I have ever stayed in. Very well kept, nice amenities (kitchen facilities amazing compared to other rentals), comfortable bedding and linens, and great location. The location was perhaps not as nice as the other properties I have stayed at in Tahoe that back up straight to the forest. You could hear road/highway noise, but it didn’t bother us. It was perfect for two families of 3-4 and one set of grandparents (9 total) for a week. The place felt very open and spacious, and we weren’t on top of one another at all. Glad there were fans because it was pretty hot the week we stayed (mid-July). The pool table was a real hit too.
