The guest house and it’s surroundings are absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In addition to being a lovey place to stay in its own right the location close to the Opera house and a short drive from downtown was perfect.

Just as great the second time!
We love this place and plan to stay here every time we are in Santa Fe. Well appointed, comfortable and private. Just minutes from downtown, but quiet with a great view of the milky way from the hot tub at night. Just down the road from the quaint village of Tesuque, great food at the Village Market any time of day or evening. Great Hosts - always cold drinks and snacks waiting; and they are very available for all questions and needs. Thanks again!!!

The perfect place to stay near Sante Fe !
Judith's guest house was perfect! It is so comfortable, private and beautifully decorated. After a busy day of exploring the Sante Fe area and beyond it was a wonderful place to come back to . We relaxed in the fabulous hot tub every night under the starry sky and we walked the trail along the ridge top just behind the house to view the sunrise and sunset.
Judith is a very friendly host available to help if needed but otherwise respectful of your privacy. If you chose this place to stay you will be pleased with it's many amenities, peaceful surroundings and beauty. We would not hesitate to return! Our thanks to Judith for sharing her lovely bit of paradise.

perfect in every way!
Just the thing for 1 or 2 who need to relax! A short easy drive from Santa Fe, but delicious food just down the hill at Tesuque Village Market for breakfast, lunch or dinner and a great view of dark starry nights from the hot tub or near the fire pit if you wanna stay close. Great views of sunrise and sunsets from the property. Comfortable bed, nespresso machine, tea, cold water and beer in fridge as well as fresh fruits and a few snacks awaited us when we arrived along with friendly owner, Judith to show us around and be available for any questions. Can pack very light as there is a washer/dryer in the bedroom closet. Everything beautifully decorated as shown in pictures. If we had stayed longer, would have taken advantage of the nice kitchen and grill to cook. Had coffee on the deck every morning - beautiful views in all directions. Wanted to stay longer and I'm sure we will be back - the sooner the better!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful place Judith!

Beautiful Home
P Beautiful Home!
From the moment you drive off the road and go through the gate, you will not be disappointed. Tucked away in the hills of Tesuque, the guest house is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The house is very clean and cozy with great views (windows on all four sides of the house) of the surrounding hills.
Judith met us as we were driving in and gave us a great tour of the guest house. She provided very helpful instructions regarding the lighting, both inside and out, detailed instructions for the cable/satellite TV, A/C, Nespresso Coffee Maker, laundry and hot tub. We didn’t have to guess on how to make anything work in the house. And if that wasn’t enough, Judith and her husband provided a lovely bottle of wine, cheese, salami and crackers along with a six-pack of beer, and some fun flavored sodas in the fridge.
We spent most mornings eating our breakfast sitting on the back deck. It was so peaceful
and relaxing and usually the perfect temperature. We spent our evenings sitting in the hot tub watching the stars come out.
The towels in the bathroom are probably the best quality (Pottery Barn) we’ve ever had in a vacation rental home, or a 5-star hotel. The sheets, blankets, comforter and pillows on the bed are a very high quality.
We highly recommend this home for your stay in Santa Fe, NM.
Beautifully decorated small home set in the hills, minutes from downtown Santa Fe. I loved staying here, loved, loved, the hot tub every night. It is extremely private and peaceful here. The owners are wonderful, even shared meals with them.
I've stayed in 7 Santa Fe rentals but this was exceptional. From the bowl of fruit and help with luggage to the pristine views and well appointed casita. There were bird feeders so I had hummingbirds and wrens with my morning coffee on one covered veranda (with gorgeous hot tub) to mountain views on the sunset veranda on the other. I cook's kitchen, great wifi and Judi and Don I now consider friends. They are friendly warm hosts. Best parking I've ever had, gated for security and only minutes from hiking and the plaza. Lucky you if you can procure. Len B Dallas

Beautiful and secluded romantic getaway
What a lovely and inviting place this is! Nestled in the hills just outside of Santa Fe is this amazing secluded retreat. This property is located above the garages and separate from the main house with a private entrance and two private patios. It is very tastfully decorated and is as clean as can be. This is a full service home, with everything you will need, whether you are there for three days or a month. The hosts Judith and Don were wonderful. Always willing to help and full of great ideas for our trip. A few things to consider, if you are visiting in the winter and snow is possible or recently occurred, you will need to be sure to have a 4WD or AWD vehicle as the private road to this house will require it in those conditions. Thank you Judith for the heads up on this! Also the hot tub is very nice and was great to sit in while a light snow fell around us. So romantic! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Quiet, relaxing retreat yet just minutes away from everything Santa Fe has to offer.
We especially enjoyed the very private outdoor hot tub - professionally maintained, the spa was immaculate and always ready for a relaxing soak under the New Mexico sky - perfect after a hike! The owners have thought of everything - lovely details throughout.

Perfect For Us
The Nest was a perfect place for us to stay. The views and the weather were perfect during our stay. Yes, it rained we didn't care. Waking up to a wonderful view of the foothills and ending our day in the hot tub. Everything was first class and oh so comfortable and cozy. We definitely will return to The Nest.

Quiet secluded, perfect for couples
We took a trip to Santa Fe, NM to visit the winery’s in the area, relax, and enjoy some green chili. Judith welcomed us and made sure we knew if we needed anything to just contact her. The Property was everything we wanted. Hiking near by, perfect amount of space for two people, excellent recommendations for food, hot tub, coffee, cold beer in the fridge, you name it and this property has it. Tesuque Village Market is a must for breakfast!

BEST QUAINT STAY IN SANTA FE!
I need to start by saying I am a VRBO owner and have high standards with fingers crossed when I arrive at another VRBO. This home was class! The owners are class, the location class and the quality of your stay...class!
From the moment you arrive you will smile at the treasure you found. The location and beauty is none other. Sitting in the hot tub or on the rooftop deck with the weber grill...you will be soothed by your beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was PERFECT to start or end your day and the setting, views, and extra seating around it are lovely.
The home has been professionally decorated as we learned from the owner who is a designer...and it shows. From the beautiful gas stove from London to charming fixtures, to beautiful doors and furniture to even a darling bath...Joanna Gaines would be proud!
For the money we think you will not want to miss this gem and the owners are great! We highly recommend this home.

Beautiful New Mexico Retreat
My husband and I spent a long weekend in this guest home recently. We had an absolutely amazing visit. The home and property are even more beautiful in person. Everything is meticulously cared for. It is extremely quiet and clean. As stated in the description, it really is only a 10 minute drive to downtown Santa Fe so you have the convenience of town while staying somewhere that feels more quiet and remote. What really sets this place apart are the personalized touches Judith leaves for her guests. We were welcomed with a small bottle of champagne, fresh fruit and bread, fresh cut flowers, etc. She goes above and beyond for her guests. As we were there in winter, we took full advantage of using the hot tub each night which was clean, warm and so relaxing under the winter sky. We had no issues whatsoever, but I am confident if we did that Judith would have been very easy to contact to help us. I cannot recommend this property enough!

Lovely guest house
We loved being in the mountains for the beauty and serenity. You could spend the day there and just relax, or take the short, easy drive to the city for sightseeing. The location is also great for trips to Los Alamos and Ghost Ranch. It is very convenient to the opera as well. The guest house is attractively furnished and the owners are wonderful hosts. From air conditioning to a Nespresso, it has everything you could want.

Beautiful desert oasis!
Tranquil setting just 5 minutes from Santa Fe square! Comfort is the word to best describe Judith and Don's beautiful guest house! Open floor plan and all the amenities a traveler could ask for. We regretfully only had 2 days/3 nights here. Gated community, very quiet we slept with the windows open and enjoyed peaceful evenings on the veranda sipping wine. So looking forward to our next Santa Fe adventure. Definitely our first place to consider for the return trip. Thank you again Judith and Don!
