Taluswood holiday lettings

We were looking for somewhere special for a family Christmas and this property delivered. It was an instant hit with family members the minute we walked in. Warm, cosy, but with plenty of space. Amazing views across the valley when the weather allows. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and the living space equipped with books and games. Great communication from Eric beforehand with excellent instructions. The parkade was fantastic as it snowed every day we were there!

This property is simply outstanding, it really is just as good as it looks in the pictures. Absolutely everything that anyone could possibly need is provided, really above and beyond. Really nicely presented, comfortable and immaculately clean. It is a real credit to the owner. The Taluswood development is really beautiful, a high quality, nice quiet and friendly neighbourhood and in my opinion is the perfect place to stay for visiting Whistler, especially with Mountain Bikes (although I expect it’s just as good in Winter) as access to the Creekside gondola couldn’t be easier and access back to Taluswood is Superb right from the Creek Zone trails. Creekside is a short walk away for a great evening out, or about an hour stroll into Whistler for just about every option you could wish for. In summer the shade from the surrounding trees keeps the property at a perfect temperature and the deck and outdoor grill make for a brilliant evening outdoors. Communication with the host was excellent, really helpful and responsive. We couldn’t have wished for better in every respect. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!

We can’t recommend Neil and Heidi’s place highly enough. It was the perfect base for our 10 day trip to Whistler to visit and ski with our son (on a working vacation) and experience the magic of the mountains. We loved the apartment itself - so comfortable, stylish, well equipped and cosy with a magnificent view - it provided for all our needs, a real sanctuary to come home to each day. We also really enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful location away from the hubbub of the village but within close walking distance of the piste (the snow cover in April wasn’t quite enough to ski to the door). The mountain side location does mean you need a car but the on-site covered parking made it very easy. Really liked Creekside too - good market, cool cafes and great pizzas at Creekbread! Cannot fault the experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone - we hope we’ll be back one day. Thanks Neil and Heidi for being such excellent and helpful hosts!
