It doesn't help when multiple hosts are involved with these types of rentals. The house is cozy and welcoming. The workout room was fantastic surprise!

The photos are very deceiving. The cabin is part of a larger camp property. There is a cabin directly next door (less than 10ft from the front door) and your door looks out directly on to the other cabin. You can see the front door of the other cabin from the porch. You really have no privacy if the other cabin is rented out. The cabin appears nice inside but isn't really. The shower pressure is finicky depending on how well you can pull the old school bathtub tab up. The built-in lights (including the light over the toliet) only work 1/2 the time. The blinds are busted over the front door window (we had to cover the windows with a towel). Thankfully, we brought extra towels as they only gave us 2 towels for 2 adults to use over a 3 night stay; no washcloths and no bath mat. The HDMI cable broke the first night so we had no TV until we bought a new cable. There is also a large house (with kids and dogs) across the lake ( hidden by the island covered in trees in the photo).
Host allowed us to check in a day early when our travel plans changed on short notice and was very responsive when we had questions or special requests. This was a very restful and enjoyable stay.
