Had a fabulous 5 days at the house, with the views being even more amazing in person than in the pictures. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with every utensil you’ll need and plenty of plates, cups and glasses. The pool (which is heated) was great for morning, afternoon and evening swims. With 8 adults staying there was plenty of space and plenty of bathrooms to use so we never felt we were getting in the way of each other. A problem we had half-way through the stay was quickly fixed and we were made to feel very welcome. Recommend hiring a car to get to the house (and get around), with location being great that it’s 15-20 minutes from Tivat airport, as well as beaches, picturesque towns and lots of things to do (definitely recommend the Kotor cable car). Location is also a great mix of feeling you are in the countryside whilst only being a few minutes drive from supermarkets and local towns. There is a small shop about 100m up the road that stocks the essentials. Amélie provided a really helpful set of instructions for getting to the house, as well as a guide covering things to do and restaurants to visit (all of the recommendations we tried we ended up having fantastic meals at). Only thing you’ll need to plan into your trip is to go register at the local tourist office and pay the tourist tax. Finally the price for the apartment was superb and offered great value. If you are looking to book, do so as you’ll have a fantastic time.

Had a fantastic time here. Villa was beautiful and pool was lovely, apartments are a little small but had everything we needed (except a kettle! Us English love a cup of tea!!) The host, Elena was lovely - very helpful and provided great local knowledge. Definitely need a car to get around as not in walking distance to many things but the plus side of that is that it's so quiet and peaceful! Would definitely recommend.

A very large and comfortable place to stay in Montenegro with a lovely pool. Hugh is a great host and made everything very easy. Handy for Kotor and Perast and just a great place to hang out.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Villa Marija (party of 13) The owners are lovely and available if you need anything but not obtrusive. They even baked fresh bread and made a cheese and ham platter for our lunch for a resonable price. The apartments are clean and tidy. There are basic kitchen facilities but we felt a toaster would have been useful to have for breakfasts. Branko and Maria gave us contact detials for some brialliant transfer / taxi guys who made our stay and trips absolutly seamless for a fair price. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect pool area overlooking Budva.

We had a wonderful two weeks in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and had the newest of appliances and facilities. We spent many a morning and evening relaxing on the balcony and had spectacular views of the firework festivals and ships. The pool was an added bonus and we enjoyed this facility in the 36 degree heat, if you don't like swimming in the sea! The position of the apartment meant that we could walk to the old town within twenty minutes and visit the local restaurant and bars with ease. We ate and drank well and everything was good value for money. The boutique shops were excellent if you like browsing. We would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay. Annie was very helpful and everyone staying in that particular complex were kind, helpful and respectful. The days out we chose to do were also exciting (with some hairy bus rides!) Don't expect wild, raucous nightlife - this was a romantic, quiet, relaxing break, perfectly suited to our needs. We definitely hope to return in the not too distant future.

Lovely apartment, well situated in the old town in a less busy area. Handy for the local supermarket and very easy to walk out to restaurants that all very close. Aneta was very helpful and welcoming. Would return.

A beautiful neat little apartment with a good balcony in the best corner of town; within 200yds of the old town beach, the old town itself, a supermarket and many restaurants. This must be the best corner of Budva, you don't get overwhelmed by the size of the rest of the town. A cleaner comes in everyday to take out the rubbish and change the towels and the owner is friendly and helpful, ask her advice on the best places to eat, we did and had some great meals.. Do get the parking as you are in a very busy part of town.
