Lovely peaceful cabin - we didnt do any lake front activities, but used cabin as a base for leaf peeping, walks and exploring. We loved the jigsaw puzzles! Host was great at communicating with us.

We enjoyed our weekend away at Pop's Peak. The cabin was beautiful, clean and we enjoyed it with our grandbaby. Willam was always super responsive and helpful when I had questions. It was just so peaceful there and exactly what we needed for a weekend away!! We would definitely return!

Close to Glenview Lake

We were able to stay for 1 night which is hard find at times . Will was easy to communicate with and provided us with information for around the area . Will be back if in the area again .

Very quiet, clean, and isolated. I found it challenging to drive in the area since the roads are very narrow and curvy with no room to move off the road. Even inside the development I had a pickup truck chase me down the road while I was in reverse trying to find a safe place to give him room. I guess the neighbors are fed up with the rental crowd who are unfamiliar with the roads so they resort to bullying. Also, this is a good rental to hunker down in because it takes a good while to get down into town.The code to the door worked on the first try, which is a first with any rental I've ever used with a keypad lock. WiFi is good, but even after logging in it told me I had no internet access. It wasn't until I joined the other starlink network that it gave me access. It could've been a Android thing because my wife got access right away with her iPhone.Comfortable furnishings and bathrooms.

Why they chose this property

Our parents bought this property back in the early 1990's. Mom and Pop enjoyed coming to the mountain where it was always 15 degrees cooler than back home. Mom and Pop are in glory now, but the 4 children continue want to continue to share the joy that they exhibited throughout their lives by sharing their home away from home.

What makes this property unique

Pop's peak is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to Lake Glenville, with two great back porches where you can enjoy the fresh air and God's creation. Look for the deer that occassionaly wander through the back yard. There are several beautiful waterfalls and great hiking areas nearby.
