Cozy, cottage located on the shores of Lake Champlain at Valcour Cottages in Plattsburgh, NY. Situated across from scenic and historic Valcour Island, this cottage is close to hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, climbing, and downtown Plattsburgh. Large shared backyard overlooking the water, with two firepits (complimentary firewood), and a community deck with bar and grill station. Valcour Island Marina is located on the lake just in front of the property, so if you own a boat, this is a convenient spot for you! (Slip sold separately through the marina). Peru Dock State Boat launch is just a 15 second drive down the road. Great value and great location.

Nice little place

The property is clean it has a lovely view. We will stay again when the weather is nicer. The only complaint I have, it is not really a complaint, but the front door does not close properly, but maybe due to all the rain/moisture. But we loved it here

Mildew smell was pretty bad. Shower/tub could use some repair. The front door wouldn’t close properly. The front deck had holes in the wood Trip hazard. Bedding had bad smell. Went out and purchased our own to use. A little TLC needed to bring it back to its glory and it would be good again. Loved the view and the peacefulness of the property though.
