Great spot for me my husband and our 6 year old daughter. The house is small but you can’t beat the location and it was perfect for our needs. Would absolutely book again.
The cottage was absolutely adorable and just the right size for my son and I while we were in Newport for a long weekend event. Kath was extremely accommodating and couldn't have been any nicer. We plan on returning as well as suggesting this place to friends who plan Newport stays.
Located between two beaches and a few minutes from downtown, this property is in a great location. Kath was in touch and very helpful throughout the trip! I would recommend!
Beach, Charm, and Comfort — Perfect Getaway for Pups Pals!
We had an amazing girls' weekend at this charming cottage — it was absolutely perfect for our small group and two beach-loving pups! The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to a beautiful beach, great coffee spots, and delicious local eats. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and just the right size, with convenient off-street parking and super friendly neighbors that added to the warm, welcoming vibe. Our host was fantastic — incredibly friendly and communicative, making everything smooth from start to finish.Honestly, this place was so much better than a hotel. It was the ideal home base to relax, explore, and enjoy the best of the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, pet-friendly getaway close to all the fun!
We had a great experience at this home! This was a great property for 2 adults and our small dog for our trip to the area. House was nicely done and the kitchen was perfect for some light cooking. Kathy was fantastic with communication and easily reachable if needed. Beach towels and chairs are also available if you need them. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, which was really nice. The house is very close to the Cliff Walk and downtown Newport, full of shops and restaurants. The Newport Vineyards is a few miles away, and highly recommended for a visit. Thank you Kathy!
We had a wonderful time in Middletown and Newport, and Kath’s cottage was a nice home base for us. It’s snug but very comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to Second Beach, where we could surf and swim. It’s basically also across the road from St George’s school, and since one of our teens was playing in a sports tournament there, it was super convenient for that as well, and we were able to walk straight down to the beach from there on the school’s mown path.Kath was very responsive and reached out to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed (which we did).We didn’t cook any dinners in the house, but we enjoyed making breakfast and lunch in the eat-in kitchen. The covered front porch and all of the plantings are wonderful and help give the cottage extra privacy. It’s in a small complex of four cottages, but everyone was quiet and respectful. The AC worked very well, but since it was cool and breezy at night, we turned it off and slept with the windows open, and could hear the cars pass by in the morning. However, with the AC on and the windows closed, that wouldn’t be an issue. We enjoyed the weekend and I would come back again!
