What a lovely property! Dallas was super accommodating and the house was beautiful. We especially loved the rooftop deck and the fenced in yard for our dog. Thanks for the Southern hospitality!
We came from Baton Rouge and It was the weekend of my daughter's wedding. I rented a large home so that the 14 bridesmaids would have enough space to get their make-up done the day of the wedding. The house is huge. We enjoyed the home and the weekend. I will rent again.
The house was exactly as described! It is an historical home and the owner has keep as much of the nostalgic appearance as possible. The home comfortably housed the 9 guest, the rooms were of nice comfortable size. Nice large L- shaped kitchen and the laundry room is very spacious. The owner provided correct information as to the distance of the house from various sites. Easily located and I would definitely stay again if and when I return to Shreveport. The host Dallas responded in a timely fashion if and when had questions. Ample parking for our vehicles was a plus as well.
The house was very clean and was nice. The only problem we had was that the plumbing must have been partially clogged, because we had the toilets back up a couple of times and water was very slow draining out of the downstairs bathtub, especially if both the upstairs and downstairs showers were being used at the same time. The owner was notified and he was going to get a plumber out to look at the pipes. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.

Hey Vaughn,
I am sorry for the inconvenience of the plumbing during your stay. This is absolutely not something I wish for you or myself to have to deal with.
As you know I had the plumber out as you left to clear everything out and get things back running properly again and I am so sorry that we had an issue during your stay.
The problem has been fixed & a system of quarterly pipe cleanings has been put into place to avoid issues in the future.
Thank you & my sincere apologies for the inconvenience. - Dallas
Everything was great with the house. I really loved the historical feel and look of the house! The only thing we can say that was a little annoying was that the house next door was having renovations done and they woke us up at 7:30 the first morning. Overall it was an awesome place to stay!!!
Wonderfully charming historic property in the best Shreveport neighborhood! My siblings and our children enjoyed Christmas at this property and the swings and climbing ladder in the backyard were the perfect compliment to the 70 degree weather for the kids. We appreciated the small touches around the home to maximize comfort including mini split AC in the upper bedrooms and even a surprise keyboard that contributed to the holiday spirit. The host was very considerate and responsive, even offering us a direct number in case we needed to contact over the holiday. He was also very receptive to the feedback we had to offer regarding old house maintenance as former residents of the neighborhood! The host is committed to facilitating a great experience for guests.
We stayed at your -------- this weekend - March 13-15 2026. The place did not look at all like the pictures. The yard was unkempt. The front porch to the street was full of leaves. The lawn chair at the back door was broken. On the inside the vents in the floor were dangerously loose. The chair in the living area was broken. The mirrors in the bathrooms were nasty and the commode seat in the upstairs bathroom was loose. Overall the place didn't feel or smell clean. As you can tell we were disappointed with the place. We expected more based on the lovely pictures you advertised
