About the property

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Completely Renovated from Top to Bottom

This is a Gulf Front unit with Panoramic Ocean and beach views from all rooms. It has been completely renovated from top to bottom with new kitchen, new bathrooms, new furniture, GE stainless steel appliances and LCD TVs in all room. Two Ocean facing balconies give you the view of beautiful sunrise in the morning from one balcony and awesome West Coast sunsets from the other balcony. The unit is fully equipped with all the comforts of a home. It has washer and dryer in the unit so you don't have to make trips to a laundromat. The Master Suite has a king-size bed and the guest bedroom has two full size beds (not twins). If you want a Gulf facing unit with spectacular views, fully renovated, clean and comfortable furnishings, you will not find a better place than this on Siesta Beach.

The rates are as listed, plus a 12% Florida tax. Holiday weeks 15% premium.

You are renting this condo directly from the owner and I live less than a mile on the same road. I am easy to deal with and love to help my guests in any way I can. This is big advantage over dealing with some third party rental agents. You will have my personal cell phone to be able to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Some more information about Siesta Key:

Siesta Beach is Ranked No. 1 beach in US and No. 5 in the World by TripAdvisor. Siesta Key Beach is central Sarasota's gateway to the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico, an island that combines luxurious amenities with a relaxed vibe that appeals to both visitors and locals.

On the east side of this eight-mile long barrier island is Sarasota Bay and Florida's intracoastal waterway. It's a scenic trail for boaters interested in exploring the mangrove forests that dot the area, dropping a line for snook or pompano, or cruising to Sarasota's dockside restaurants and pubs. On the island's west side are Siesta Key's glorious white sand beaches -- ranked number one in America in 2011 by Dr. Beach -- and the calm waters of the Gulf. Take an early morning walk while dipping your toes in the surf; build sand castles, search for shells and soak up the warm sunshine in the afternoon; then find a comfortable spot in to view the postcard-perfect moment when the sun dips below the horizon and paints the sky in strokes of red and orange.

There's more to Siesta Key than just beaches and water. This island is a destination for all who stay or live in the Sarasota area thanks to the wide variety of entertainment and dining options that stretch its length. On the north end, a short walk from one of Siesta's large expanses of public beach, lies Siesta Key Village. In the village's quaint few blocks you'll find dozens of shops that cater to the island lifestyle, offering necessities like groceries and hardware alongside souvenirs and bathing suits. Siesta Key Village restaurants -- most with large, open-air dining -- range from pancake and egg joints to award-winning fine dining spots. No matter how fancy, though, dress codes are always casual: Sandals are not only allowed, they're expected.

Down at the south end of Siesta Key you'll find more restaurants, shops and public beaches, as well as marina and boat rental facilities. Within minutes, you can putter in a pontoon boat or slice through waves in a high-powered jet ski. Try parasailing for more high-flying adventure, where you'll experience a unique view of Siesta Key while suspended from a parachute over 100 feet in the air. Or exercise more than just your sense of wonder by renting a bike or a kayak to explore the island on your own.

Casual and beautiful, home to some of the world's best beaches, and a short drive to all that greater Sarasota has to offer, Siesta Key is an ideal spot to spend a lazy afternoon or an extended stay.

About Harry

I am from New York. I bought this property as a vacation home for me and my family. I completely renovated it with top quality materials and furnishings. I have now bought a bigger property on the same road, about 1 mile from this property. You are renting this property directly from the owner who lives on the same road, one mile away. I can be reached directly in case of any issues.

Harry purchased this condo in 2009

Why Harry chose Siesta Key

Siesta Beach, Full Gulf views, walk to Siesta village (or take free Golf cart taxis), newly renovated unit with high quality furnishings, all the comforts of a home, plus onsite heated pool, tennis courts and Barbecue grill next to the pool.

What makes this condo unique

You can sit in the unit and feel like you are sitting on the beach - with 180 degree panoramic views of the ocean and the beach. Covered parking space right next to the elevators. Easy to carry your groceries upstairs.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I am copying below an email I received from the guest who checked in today. This is a typical reaction when guests first walk into this awesome condo; along with words such as, "the pictures don't do justice to the view", "way more than I expected", "the words can't describe the beauty of this place" etc.

"Wow!!!! We have just arrived and not only do we have the "best view" but this condo is soooo awesome! What a fantastic place! Just wanted to say thanks!"

Notes:
Location, Location, Location! You can not beat this location if you want to enjoy the No. 1 Beach in USA and No. 5 Beach in the World. If you are looking for a clean, newly renovated, family friendly place, this is it. Siesta beach sand does not get hot even in bright sunshine because it has a very high Quartz content that does not retain heat. So you can enjoy a sunny day on the beach and walk bare feet without burning your feet.

Great Beach, Great Condo

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed for a week with our two young kids at this condo and had a great time. The condo is great. Well kept and clean with everything you need including an amazing view. It is right across from a major entrance to the beach with great play facilities for kids, showers and bathrooms for full beach day visits. We spent most of our time at the beach. The water is amazing and the sand like powder. This condo is only a mile from siesta village, which has restaurants, bars and shops. No need to leave Siesta Key at all. Harry is amazing to deal with and goes out of his way to make your stay as great as possible. I've already recommended him to friends and we will definitely be back when we can. Thanks again for a great week.

Immaculate

  • 5 of 5

The Condo is exactly as described. The view is amazing and the location is perfect. It was beautifully furnished, extremely clean and equipped with everything that we needed. If you want to feel true luxury, this is the place. Harry was very courteous and was available to answer any questions that we had. The only downside to our trip was that we had to leave a day early because IRMA decided that she was taking over...OH WELL...can't mess with mother nature!

Thanks for a great vacation and sharing your amazing condo Harry....

Owner's Response: Thanks Debbie and David. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay at my condo, even though it was cut short due to Irma. Fortunately we did not sustain any damage or loss of power for extended time. We are back in operation and Siesta Key is humming with activity again.

We felt right at home - beautiful view, comfortable & stylish decor, great location!!!

  • 5 of 5

My 3 children ages 8,10 & 12 and I spent 11 nights in this lovely condo. The view is wonderful and so convenient to the public beach access across the street. We enjoyed using the beach cart and beach gear provided in a closet filled with goodies including games & books if you'd like. The condo is nicely decorated, stocked and comfortable - slept well. We all enjoyed the pool and poolside grill, cooked some meals in and had everything we needed in the kitchen. So much to see & do! Short drive into Siesta Village- there is a free shuttle. We enjoyed exploring Ca D'Zan, the Ringling museums, Mote Aquarium, an eco boat tour of Sarasota Bay, Lido Beach at sunset, St Armand's circle, all nearby.

This was really an enjoyable trip and I was sad to have to leave. We will definitely be back! I would highly recommend staying here!

This condo delivered absolutely everything it promised and more!

  • 5 of 5

We took our family of 6 here for a week and have made wonderful memories thanks in part to this beautiful place. The pictures we had seen online depicted exactly what we saw upon arrival and we felt welcomed and looked after from start to finish. There is obviously a lot of pride of ownership here and for good reason. Unfortunately we did end up breaking a glass coffee table but we were able to sort that out quickly with Harry. Sorry again!

We highly recommend this place, the quick walk to the Gulf, easy access to our vehicle, crystal clear pool and most importantly, the views from our condo were AMAZING! It didn't matter that we had Tropical storm Emily come through...watching the Gulf through all of the changing weather was one of our favourite parts of staying here!

This is our third time at this condo. We love it here. Beautiful views of the ocean from inside the condo as well as the patio area. Just step across the parking lot and you're at the beach !

Plenty of beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas available to use as well. We will be back!

Thanks.
