Great property

  • 4 of 5

It was a great property. Clean and convenient to everything. We even had bears come up on our porch, which is part of the Smoky Mountain experience. :) It was a little smaller than what the pictures make it seem, but overall we had a great time.

Would not recommend this cabin :(

  • 2 of 5

This cabin is a part of a resort, and the check-in process was very difficult to figure out. We got no emails about this process from the resort, directions, phone numbers, anything. The address on this site is not the cabin's address, it only takes you to approximately where the office is located--VERY confusing :/. Walking into the cabin, the ramp is in dire need of replacement-the boards are rotted out, and about to cave when you walk on them. As soon as we took our shoes off, we noticed clumps of hair getting stuck to the bottom of all our feet from the carpet, the kitchen, AND the bathroom downstairs. I decided I had to sweep it up, it was disgusting. There was only a broom, so we could only sweep the hard floors (which literally had so much human hair and dirt it took up the whole dust pan). So we had to wear socks on the carpet for the whole stay so hair wouldn't stick to us. This same long, black hair was also in the sheets on the bed (we don't even think the sheets were clean! YIKES) AND the bathroom towels! The beds both desperately need replacing. Our friends who stayed upstairs said the bathroom floor was "caving-in" around the toilet. Our bathroom floor downstairs was flaked and peeling off. Also, there is only ONE tiny cabinet to put your pantry food items in, and it is very small. The appliances ALL need updating--the hot tub, oven, dish washer, blender, and especially microwave which takes 4× longer than normal to heat anything. Overall, all four of us were extremely disappointed with this cabin, and would have picked a different cabin if we knew :( There isn't even a nice view or anything to make up for some of the major issues with this cabin. The four of us would definitely NOT recommend this cabin to anyone, and will not be staying here or with this resort again. :(

This was a great cabin for simply relaxing. Didn't expect to be as close to other cabins as we were; however, everyone was respectful of each other. The cabin itself was very well kept and clean. Very peaceful out there and a perfect distance from the city. The only thing I would suggest is Wifi simply because we didn't always have directions to different places and reception wasn't the greatest. Wifi would have been nice to look up things like directions and things like reviews. Loved the cabin overall!

Good But Not Great

  • 3 of 5

First, the positives: The cabin was very clean and we loved the roomy interior. There are huge windows in the living room to let in light during the day, and the view is gorgeous. The small community of cabins is so cute!! They have decorations up in some of the yards and small little buildings for decoration purposes. Great places to take photos!! The loft bedroom is open and airy with plenty of room to move around. Decor is really good inside. The cabin is in a great location, only minutes from the main Parkway in Pigeon Forge.

The negatives: The cabin is only equipped with "bare bones" essentials. Kitchen is not very well equipped for cooking. No baking pans, very few pots, and the ones they have are very poor quality. (Plenty of plates and glasses though.) The cable TV in the downstairs bedroom only gets a few of the channels. I tried talking to the management company about it, but they claimed the TV was probably going out and told me there was nothing they could do about it. Really it was just a problem with the cable itself, so I felt they just didn't want to deal with it. The bed in the downstairs bedroom is SO LOUD. Every tiny little movement makes loud squeaking and creaking noises. (So having a romantic night with the kids sleeping upstairs was definitely out of the question!!) There is no DVD player in the cabin, so watching a movie on the rainy days was also out of the question. Also, there's no Internet at the cabin, which isn't necessarily a bad thing unless you're one of the 3 teenage girls we had with us or if you brought some work along with you.

Overall, it's s great little cabin if you're not planning to spend a lot of time indoors or if you just want to get away from EVERYTHING. Also if you're not planning on doing a lot of eating in/cooking (which we had planned to do) then this is the cabin for you. I don't see myself returning to this particular cabin, though. I would like to try one of the other cabins in the development, though. But maybe not with the same management company.
