About this property

WEST END GUESTHOUSE

Beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath guest house in the West End neighborhood. Sleeps 6-7.

The inside of the house has been completely updated. It has new floors, bath fixtures, light fixtures, and ceiling fans throughout. Our most recent upgrade is the replacement of all the windows. This provides a quieter, warmer or cooler environment, that keeps out most of our lovely west Texas sand.
The Kitchen has new LG appliances and is equipped with cooking essentials for your stay and of course, plenty of coffee and tea. The dining table seats 6 comfortably with more folding chairs are available in the coat closet.
The Living room has a comfortable couch and two upholstered chairs with Television receiving internet TV channel access, a Blue Ray player and WIFI. (No cable TV)
The Master Bedroom is furnished with a king bed and private bath, the south bedroom is furnished with a queen bed a twin day bed. The north bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. There are two full baths. The laundry room has a Speed Queen washer, dryer, an iron, ironing board, and small clothes steamer. Laundry supplies provided.
We hope you will find it very welcoming, comfortable, clean and bright.
The back yard has a new 7' privacy fence that we love.
We now can begin the upgrades planned for this outdoor space. We have finished the pergola. Yeah! This spring as the weather permits, we will be working on the landscape project for the backyard space and the front yard. We added a large Char Grill BBQ on the back patio for those of you who love to cook out. We will keep you updated with photos as the new additions are completed.

Our property is No Smoking/Vaping and No Pets home.

For your convince the Cleaning fee is included.

Garage access is not available.

Check-in: 4pm day of arrival
Check out: 11:00 am the day of departure.

Property management is close by should a need arise during your stay at West End Guest House.

Minimum age of renter is 28 years.

West End House is a great place to stay when visiting Lubbock for family reunions, athletic events and competitions, football games, graduation, and weddings, or just to come to meet up and visit friends.

Come relax, enjoy the sights and sounds of Lubbock, Texas Tech and LCU ballgames, and graduations. Just a block away from Cabela's, Costco, West End Outlet Mall, and several wonderful restaurants. Starbucks, Walk-On's Bistreaux and Bar, Aspen Creek, Bone Daddy's, Panera Bread, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Chick-Fil-a, and PF Chang's to name a few. Many more fast food places located to the north on 19th Street and even more choices to the south on Milwaukee.

Great Graduation Getaway

The Westend Guesthouse was a perfect place for my family of five! The home was clean, and very tastefully decorated. We were all very comfortable during our graduation weekend and would recommend this property to anyone who needs a place for any Tech events. The proximity to campus made it very convenient.

Perfect Graduation Weekend

Wonderful property/home for the family to gather and celebrate the accomplishments of our 2021 Graduate ! We loved and utilized the outdoor space and once the blessings of West Texas rain 🌧 arrived, we moved indoors to the living room & kitchen. Photos don’t do it justice! This home is updated and fully appointed with everything you need. Cozy home but very comfortable for 4-6 adults. Private backyard is a fun hangout with twinkle lights. Convenient to lots of stores and restaurants as well as TTU. Friendly and helpful hosts!

Perfect home for our family weekend at Texas Tech!

The host of this property was always super responsive and very helpful! We arrived to complimentary waters and yummy cookies! No joke....every single little thing we thought of that we didn't have with us she has a stock of in the house and so very well labeled! The decor is very thoughtful and the timing of our stay had Fall decorations. If our daughter chooses to attend Texas Tech we will definitely be back! Thanks again for a wonderful and cozy place to spend a few days with family!

Had a fantastic weekend celebrating my son’s graduation from Texas Tech. The property was perfect.

Lovely home. Well appointed & decorated. It was even decorated for Christmas which was such a personal touch & added to my family’s enjoyment. Fantastic host as well. They even accommodated a late checkout so my parents didn’t have to sit at the airport all day. Just a great experience! Would highly recommend!

Online housing can be hit or miss compared to the promotional photos/listing provided by owners. This home checked all of the boxes in a good way. Very clean, comfortably set up, well appointed with ample everything and the kitchen had everything you would need. Good books and entertainment center. All of us were very pleased with the home. The back yard accommodated 12-15 people for a short graduation brunch and several very competitive hole board games. Well done with attention to detail.

Excellent rental experience

This was our third time renting this property and again it really was a good vacation rental experience. The house was very clean, the kitchen is well supplied with an assortment of accessories and appliances for all your cooking needs and it was even festively decorated in a fall theme this time.

Great Customer Service

This was our second stay at this property and It was excellent again. We contacted the owner to advise that we would be arriving late night due to delays in our travel. Not only was the home clean and prepared for our arrival, but she was thoughtful enough to turn on porch lights and a/c for us so that we weren’t bumbling around in the dark on arrival and the house was already cooled down when we entered. That was such a nice thing to do.

Nice place to stay

We really enjoyed this property. There was plenty of room for all of us and close to the university and popular restaurants. The neighborhood was a little noisy, but house was very clean and checkin was very easy. We loved the backyard and grill. It was a great option for a cookout.

Amazing

Dawna, I absolutely loved that house. Everything was so wonderful. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of dishes to use. And the backyard was super cute with the corn hole and everything. We will definitely be reaching out again when we come back to Lubbock. My son was able to able to leave the dorm for a weekend and stay with us and felt like home for him a little bit. Thank you thank you so much. We also loves all your scriptures all over as we are believers too. Sorry about the pan in the sink I ran out of time. Y’all are amazing. Thank you thank you.

We grew up here in Lubbock and attended Lubbock Christian from kindergarten to college. We have been back in Lubbock for the past 17 years teaching at Sunset International Bible Institute. We enjoy Lubbock because of the graciousness and love of it's people.

Why they chose this property

My dad and I purchased this property and my husband and I remodeled it hoping to move Dad closer to us but that has not quite worked the way we planned. So, for now, I am offering the house as a guest house for those who are visiting Lubbock. We would love to host parents and grandparents of college and high school students as they travel to town for special occasions and ball games. Also would love to welcome any business travelers that would require or desire more than just a hotel room.

A laundry room with Speed Queen washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, and small clothes steamer.
We hope you will find it very welcoming, comfortable, clean and bright. In the back yard, we love the new 7' privacy fence.
